      He sure did predict that.

I feel as if Shane should be leaning towards retirement he shouldn't be going up and down in weight at his age also a win over Mora or Berto won't enhance his legacy any and there really is nothing else for him to prove sticking around to long will hurt him more than it will help him

Poor Shane Mosley. Has to keep fighting for money despite having nothing left. Gonna be sad to see him get run by a Sergio Mora type after the career he had.

It's not an easy style match up for Mosley. Mora can make him look bad. Mosley does better with fighters that go to him. Mora will show angles and lots of movement.

How many threads did we get from posters on here saying he would never fight Mosley? How many threads did we get about why was it taking Mayweather/Mosley sooo long to be annouced? How many times did we get
how Mayweather would look for a way out of the fight? It makes them less of a boxing fan and its soo funny to see the next cycle, First it was Gatti(2005), Then it was Judah,Margarito(2006), Then it was De la Hoya/Hatton then it was Mosley....

He was way too jittery and never had a low punch output in any of his fights like he did in this one. He is on the downside of his career but he should still be able to give guys like Mora and Berto a good run. Actually, I think he's gonna whup Mora's ass and his true test will be against Berto.
If we are going down that road, then here something to think about...I think Berto was payed to withdraw from the fight with Mosley so the Mayweather fight can happen (come on, if that happened to anybody, disaster in Haiti, wouldn't you take out your frustrations on somebody instead of withdrawing from a fight... He could have said I AM DOING THIS FOR Haiti!!!) Oh and you said it yourself, Mosley's punch output dipped after round 3. I've seen most of his fight, and that is very uncharacteristically unlike him. Remember, he is part owner of GoldenBoy, so he's also looking out for whats best for his company, and right now Mayweather is their biggest client (even though Floyd claims he has his own production, but still uses Goldenboy) just something to think about? How's that for a conspiracy theory!!!

You might feel that way but Shane is different from any other fighter out there. There's no one out there his age that is fighting at his level (forget his last fight, he busted up Margarito before that one. Let's wait to see how he does against Mora). This man still feels young enough to mix it up with the younger dudes and his odds are pretty good against most of them, so why should he quit!
