When you compare the Mosley that fought Mayweather to the two fighters in those situations, you lose credibility and can't be taken seriously. Holmes LOST his previous fight and looked like crap. So he wasn't going to better 2 years later. And Tyson was a lot younger than Mayweather. Ali was not only past his prime and inactive, but showing the symptoms of Parkinson's disease before his fight with Holmes. Mosley was coming off one of the most impressive wins of his career. When he stepped in the ring to challenges Mayweather, people like you said "Mayweather was scared" Laughed at him for mentioning they "played basketball together" and swore up and down that Mayweather would duck Mosley. Now after he not only fights Mosley, but dominates him, you pull out these pathetic excuses. That's what separates serious boxing fans from the WWE crowd that analyzes fights with their emotions. No matter what you think of fighter personally,separate that from what they do in the ring. You should try that sometime.

That guy, Ray, said no matter who was fighting who, you can't discuss it later like human beings do because that would be called an excuse in his books. So I wasn't trying to compare Ali to Mosley. I was trying to say, even a Holmes beating up that Ali gives Holmes credit and anything we say about Ali's condition should be avoided because it would be considered an excuse in Ray's book.

Mosley couldn't handle Mayweather- obviously. He did better than most for sure but Floyd owned him in that fight.

This said I still think Shane can compete with anyone not named Mayweather or Pacquiao. The Mora fight is a great career move though because Mora is not a dude who should be able to hurt Shane or even make him look bad- which is exactly why this fight will clear up any questions about Mosley's age and his wear and tear overall. If Mosley looks ****ty against Mora then it's retirement time.
