Actually i'm not knocking MMA for that, I used to until I educated myself on it.

There almost no undefeated 25-0 type guys in mma, nobody makes it because their managers don't really spoon feed them journeyman, bums, and short notice fighters. They know in boxing, that's the way to get a title shot.

In MMA, a good 4 or 5 wins and you're in contention so there is no need.
