      i wouldn't say luck.

it's just in mma you make a little mistake you get ktfo or submitted.

in boxing you get caught by a punch you can recover.

in mma you get caught in a submission or in a bad position it could be the end.

What you describe is just your boxing style, it's still boxing and the rules are the same for both combatants.

BJJ vs Muay Thai, now there's a difference. BJJ, your strength is getting close and taking down your opponent, while a Muay Thai fighter can strike from twice your reach distance.

            actually it's kind of true.

prospects usually get a lot of soft opponents at the start in boxing.

in mma remember these guys are brazilian jiu-jitsu champions or wrestling or kickboxing champions before moving to mma. they usually start their career against a tough journeyman or gatekeeper to see if they have what it takes to make it in mma.

theres alot more variance in MMA becuase of submits and KO's

People must not have an open mind when it comes to combat sports if they think becuase of thier records they are worse than boxers

lol, it's the same for both sports.

The difference is that there is no such thing as a Journeyman in MMA. Your either a bum or not.
