I saw nothing in his last showing that says he will avoid the canvass vs the Pac juice. Cotto is a mere mortal, a fair fighter, he needs to wake up and smell the Ariza shake before he gets humiliated again.

Cheat me once, shame on you, cheat me twice shame on me.

pac haters say "if pac cannot fight at the max weight limit than dont fight at all" or "if pac cannot fight a championship fight at the max weight limit and wins, then he is not a true champ"

ok, if thats the case, then cotto isnt a real 154lb belt holder because he didnt make 154 against yuri foreman...and cotto's last few welterweight fight official weigh-ins (excluding the one against pac) didnt make 147.

alot of fighters do not go into a non title/title fight weighin in at the max limit of their perspective division...thats why they have a weight range limit with a max weight limit.

pac haters used to say (and still is saying) that pac is not a true welterweight because he is not 147...my friends, pac is a true welterweight on the smaller side of the welterweight scale of 141 - 147. besides, i believe pac is the only welterweight that has an OFFICIAL WEIGH-IN and FIGHT NITE WEIGHT that is within the welterweight limit...THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL A TRUE WELTERWEIGHT!!! A true welterweight doesnt/shouldnt come in on fight nite weighin in more than 147. heck, if you wanna come in on fight nite 5 lbs more than the official weigh-in, then come in during official weigh-ins at no more than 142, than bulk up to 147 on fight nite.

if it takes place at 151, pacquiao shouldnt get cotto's belt. but why would this fight happen, the first fight was a landslide, its like mayweather giving zab judah a rematch, just cuz cotto had 2 good rounds doesnt mean the fight was close, it was a shut-out.

and why is margarito being considered ? he doesnt even have a license and just fought a bum and all of the sudden hes deserves a shot at the p4p champ ? what a joke.

if mayweather doesnt sign the papers, then fight either andre berto or paul williams, or call out timothy bradley, im sure he'l come up in weight to fight him in a heartbeat.

a cotto rematch or a margarito fight is pure garbage, not interested in neither of em, bob arum tryna keep all the money to himself,
CO-SIGN THIS POST TOTALLY. Talks of Marg getting a title shot after getting a sever beatdown by mosley and then fighting 1 bum in a year. He doesn't even have a license in the U.S. These alphabet title organizations shouldn't even accept his fees to fight for any alphabet title.

But i'm not one of them nor am I a pac hater. Why is it if I tell the truth about Manny, am I a hater. I'm not dissing him. I'm not accusing him of PED's. I'm not saying he ducked anyone. Is there any fair criticism of manny in your mind?

You still are ducking my question. Where else was cotto going to make $8 mil?

Dude this was one of the weakest agruments i've ever heard. The point people who say that about Pac are making is that the fighter should be allowed to come in at the limit. Saying someone has to come in below the limit is the problem. Don't get me wrong, I like Pac but the fact that you want to fight a welterweight and you won't allow that fighter to come in at the limit at the official weight in is crap. If Pac isn't coming in at the limit of 147 then ok, but don't tell the champ that he can't come at the limit either. Which is the reason why Miguel was against the first fight with Pac in the first place, he didn't want to put up his title if he wasn't allowed to come in at the max welterweight limit. Now if you can't understand that then there is no hope for you. You can't be blinded over your love for a certain fighter man, that makes you a fighter fan boy and not a boxing fan.

Fact is man so many people are blinded by their adoration for a fighter that they can't even think straight.

if this is a catchweight it should be a 50\50 split or atleast 45\55 and the same type of drug test pac agreed to take for mayweather is a must if he fights cotto.
