"Both fighters wanted to demonstrate that they fought free of PEDs that night. That was not adequately accomplished, which is a shame for the participants, whom I do believe fought clean."

He might be the best, but Floyd has weak hands.

As he sat at a table in his physical therapist’s office going through yet another wax paraffin treatment, Mayweather quietly lamented, “She (my doctor) thinks I shouldn’t be fighting too much more. My body’s tearing down. My left hand is tearing down. And I never used to have hand problems until it started happening later in my career as a professional. Now my right hand, my elbow, my back… The **** goes on and on. It’s nerve wracking.”

it gives u absolutely no advatage. its actually a disadvantage because it leads to more injury. if u cant feel pain, u dnt kno when something is wrong. ppl like to make something outta nothing. just let them have their fun.

thats true, but lidocaine does not fix any of that. it deals with pain. floyd doesnt have pain in his hands when he boxes anymore. he's said so a number of times that when he got garcia, all of his hand issues, as far as the ring is concerend, were dealt with.

I don't blame Floyd, but Mosley should have have done what Hatton did, to specifically emphasize that Xylocaine be tested.

it is a disadvantage. u ask any doctor and they'll tell u how important pain is when it comes to theser things. if u dnt kno anything is wrong, u cause further damage.

That could be true, but i mean when someone like Dr. Goodman specifically said that Xylocaine is not being tested when Floyd WAS a known user now there is something to be su****ious about.

it's not an advantage.would u rather floyd pull out of a fight because his hands are hurt? u would rather him fight with broken hands right.if u injury yourself in the fight is 1 thing but if before u even step in the ring your hands are injured there is no point in fighting.do u think if pacquiao had a injured hand he would still fight without any injections?
