  • Did Floyd Mayweather used Xylocaine against Mosley

"It was absurd that the fighters were not checked for numbing agents such as lidocaine or xylocaine before and after the fight, when one fighter [Mayweather] has admitted using these agents before for sore hands. No fighter should fight nor face an opponent with numb hands," said Goodman. "Both fighters wanted to demonstrate that they fought free of PEDs that night. That was not adequately accomplished, which is a shame for the participants, whom I do believe fought clean." - Margaret Goodman MD

NSAC still conducted their own tests. USADA never got in the way of that.

I'm no expert here, but since it is not illegal in the State of Nevada i don't think NSAC test for Xylocaine. And its clear what Dr. Margaret Goodman said here. -

Margaret Goodman is an idiot, I mean he's a former medical advisor for the NSAC (Which set their own rules on numbing agents) and he has the nerve to question if USADA test for them? How ****** is he? Or is he trying to degrade OSDT for his own personal agenda? I'm more surprised at the amount of ****** people that ran with this.

Of course he did. Its may not be illegal, but it gave him unfair advantages

They do test for that. It's only illegal if used within a week.

Could Mosley have used the same thing?

Thats what i don't get, when Dr Goodman was still connected with NSAC, she specifically said that using numbing agents has advantages, and Floyd admitted on national TV that he shoot both of his hands before the fight with numbing agents, but was not punish for doing so. But then again Mosley who also admitted to knowingly using EPO was not even suspended.

it's clear that mosley did use the numbing agent xylocaine judging by his performance. but the dummy injected it into his entire body. thus the zombie like state.
