oh in btw, this is all my opinion. ive seen these fighters fight and this is what i always felt was true. zab had skills, i dnt see how ppl argue otherwise.
What exactly was his skill then?

He has fast... he had power (I guess... I've always felt his power is pretty overrated).

But really, what skill does he have that he wasn't just born with?

That is why I gave to examples of come forward fighters in Corrales/Freitas one had heart the other one didn't. Just cuz you comeforward doesn't mean you have heart I agree.

And, just cuz you're a defensive fighter doesn't mean you don't have heart or not tough.

IMO Whitaker best defensive fighter in my lifetime had heart and was tough.

I don't care how defensive minded or safety first reputation Floyd has. IMO that dude is tough and has heart.

I seen him punch Carlos Hernandez in the face, break his hand, go down from the pain. And, then continue to use that hand and whoop ass. I have seen him get hit against Emmanuel Augustus/Burton get hit more than any other fighter. And, not only get hit but to be leaking, and whoop ass. IMO no matter how offensive minded he is or how safety first he is dude has heart and when push comes to shove he is a tough dude.

I look at like this too. How many times did Gatti, Floyd, Roy,messed up their hands. And, after the fight made nothing of it? But, then you have Clottey after the Margarito fight raising up his hand and yelling "my hand, my hand" Or you have Cintron after the Jesse Feliciano fight rolling around in the ring crying about his hand like a baby... But, yet Gatti, Floyd, Roy and many more ****** it up toughen it out and went on like nothing... Is toughness, is heart... you either have it or you don't.

      Education...

but just because u were born with a talent doenst mean it isnt a skill. ive always thought of skill as what you are capable of doing, and talent means how u carry out what you are capable of doing. zab has a great left cross, even more deadly if u consider hes a southpaw. his punches are fast and crisp and he can be elusive if he wants. his weaknesses are in his technique, u can tell he wasnt trained by a skilled boxing coach. his defense is shoddy and he doesnt control the ring as good as he is capable of doing. does he have the skills to be a world class fighter? yes, does he have the technique???no.

He has a better arsenal by far, footwork, boxing smarts. To say Pacquiao is better than Judah at everything is not a strech.
it has nothing to do with him being black, it has to do with him dipping and moving well. better than pacquiao does.

we are talking prime judah, at 140. at 140 judah didnt just back up, and no moving backwards doesnt make ppl look more skilled than they really are (lol).

its funny u mention that pacquiao stands right in front of his oponent as if that makes him more skillful. thats a flaw! unless your able to box in the pocket without getting hit like floyd mayweather or james toney, standing right in front of your oponent after u land your shots is a flaw, your supposed to move. well done bringing up how pacquiao is often too aggressive and at times overlookes defense. well done.

did u just say pacquiao has better footwork than judah? thats absurd, you are eighter lying or u dont know **** about boxing footwork. boxing smarts is about even, neighter one has very high boxing IQ to be honest.

and yes, to say pacquiao is better than judah at everything is more than a stretch. pac is ten times the fighter judah is for sure, his stamina, his power, his chin, his mental strenght and determination.. but as far as pure skill goes judah in his prime tops pacquiao.

pac overreaches with his punches, has sloppy footwork, often gets too aggressive and forgets defense (like mentioned). pac is a great fighter bcuz of his amazing physical ability and huge heart, his skills are not that special. judahs are.

just look at what type of fighters they struggled with, judah lost when he eighter got clocked or got broken down by pressure. pacquiao has been outboxed on more than one occassion win lose or draw. judah managed to nearly match the skill of cory spinks and floyd mayweather.

pac ****s on him overall but as far as pure skills go judah tops him clearly.

This thread is a prime example of the latent racism Pacquiao recieves...

Who in their right minds would even consider putting Pac and Judah in the same sentence in any category????

                    shame.
