That theory doesn't work when they had a successful live attendance.....it also shows that instead of agreeing to randomized testing and getting a mega-fight,he took a fight with a man who isn't known amongst casual fans-the pay-cut was his choice....

Some people can never see the big picture, so I'll do you a favor and break it down for you...

Pacquiao has talked about retiring after his next fight but I don't think he will. Even Arum has mentioned the possibility of fighting Floyd next May if he says he doesn't want to fight again this year, meaning Manny has at least 2 fights left in him. If they can prove in court that GBP (which earns a percentage of every fight earnings from Manny) conspired to destroy his public image thereby hurting him financially, Top Rank and Pac can argue that GBP didn't perform its duties as co-promoters and in fact damaged their client. If they get $5 mil from this lawsuit and end the co-promotion deal, Pac keeps more of his earnings and Top Rank gets the full promotional earnings.

So in that scenario Pac makes millions from the lawsuit, millions more in earnings for his remaining fights, and Top Rank doesn't have to share their earnings from his fights with GBP.

      See the big picture?

BUT according to some, that successful live attendance was because of the cheap entry fee... and even if the fee was too cheap, lot of casual and Floyd fans did not watch/ buy the PPV because they think Pac was a cheat because of the accusation thus hurts Pac's repu...

Uhh...yes. Do you? I'm sorry, this ridiculous scenario is just not plausible. You really think GBP & Mayweather Promotions are going to fight a losing battle in court while simultaneously forking over millions to the people who slapped them with a suit? I think maybe you should use your head, chum. And join us in the real world, where the suit is window dressing. Where we don't believe Congressman Pacquiao, also one of the richest men in his country, is going to be awarded millions because someone's accusation damaged him financially.

In what way is that scenario not plausible? Top Rank has been trying to get mutual representation of Manny Pacquiao since 2006 and GBP just gave them the green light to pursue this course legally with their sheer ******ity. And you may think the suit is 'window dressing' but both Schaefer and DLH took it seriously enough to attempt (and fail twice) to file a motion to have it dismissed. Someone probably should've told them it was just 'window dressing' when they were forced to give depositions in court as well.

Both Roger and Floyd Sr have said in clear, non-cryptic words that Pacquiao is on PEDs with Roger going so far as to concoct a myth about A-Side Meth that makes you bullet proof being Pacquiao's drug of choice, 'that what the **** he on' is what he said repeatedly. DLH printed quotes likening Pacquiao to Mosley and Vargas, both linked to PED use in RING magazine, one of the most read and respected publications in boxing.

Suit's going forward with tons of incriminating direct statements, some of them on video backing up the claims of Pac and his legal team. Don't see what counter argument the Mayweathers or GBP can come up with that won't lighten their pockets by at least 5 millie.

But maybe I'm just stuck in the Matrix. But please, tell me how things work in the real world...

Prince, would you join us in the real world for god's sake? Yeah, they're taking it seriously as in responding. So? How does that change anything I said? Do you know how ridiculous your post sounds? "They're taking it seriously because they filed twice to get it dismissed." Huh? That just means like the rest of us, they think it's ridiculous. Congratulations on Manny getting this case past the embryonic stage. Yeah, good luck with that.

Obviously, the lawsuit is going in Pac's favor. Otherwise, this would have been dismissed a long time ago. And apparently, the judge deciding this is a normal person with a normal brain, as opposed to a *****, and sees it as it is. There's no way you could get away from making evil accusations without any shred of evidence and not be slapped with any kind of punishment.

No one will make money out of this, including Pac. But money is not the sole purpose of this, imho, it is to make those accusers make public apologies. If anything, lawyers defending this are making tons of money. Whatever money awarded will go directly to them, especially Manny's lawyers.
