what evidence ...opinion and evidence in a defermation case is different...he is suing mayweather off of 4 statements...2 of them didnt even have manny name init the other one was talking about fairness after manny rejected random testing and the last one was an opinion still about himt hinking he had something in his system due to him rejecting random testing...ina defermation case you must prove those statements were made knowing they were false and if yourejected randomtesting you can think what you want after that, and you also have to prove your lsoes that came from this situation.

your allowed to have an opinion and allowed to express it in your own way...good or bad..we have laws to protect that. the law will not punish mayweather or anybody for having an opinion..if lance armstrong sued for defermation and proved he was innocent with increased testing and passing allof them and this was a governing body that said they thought he was cheating and he couldnt win..do you think a guy who wont take ranom testing and change his reasoning why he rejected random testing so manny times will win the case and millions...think again..

People who think this lawsuit is just some sort of 'smokescreen' are seriously misinformed. De La Hoya and Schaefer both filed motions to have the case dismissed in Vegas court, but the judge shut down the motion (meaning it's going to trial) and both were forced to give depositions, and were reportedly roasted on the stand by Petrocelli. Pacquiao is seeking damages in excess of $5 million and that's why GBP is so desperate to get this fight made, notice how DLH jumped the gun and said the fight was 'very, very close' and then was pimp slapped by Schaefer and started yapping about being 'misquoted' in a television interview.

Petrocelli has a vault of evidence against GBP and the Mayweathers (especially Roger and Floyd Sr) and will have little trouble winning the case. If Mayweather ducks the fight, and he will, he will forgo making $60-120 million for fights w/ Pacquiao and instead owe him $5 mil.

The fight has nothing to do with the lawsuit, they are 2 seperate issues. Pac has already agreed to terms as has Top Rank and GBP, the ONLY thing holding up the fight is one Floyd 'Money' Mayweather. No getting around it, if Floyd doesn't sign on to fight and he comes up with more excuses (the latest one from a 'source within his camp' says he doesn't want to fight this year because of tax issues)- he should and will carry all the blame.
