my fear on pac's skills when he fights pbf

pac has the speed, power, stamina and style to beat floyd.

however, undeniably, floyd is a monster boxer who adjusts easily. what if floyd, brings the game inside. does pac has enough substance to fight inside and compete with floyd's great rhythm?

I have the opposite fear, I'm afraid that it will be a performance like the one against Marquez, Mayweather will keep him at the end of his jab and outbox him for 12 rounds, If Marquez and Mosley couldn't walk through those jabs and straight right hands, i don't know if Pac will either.

Floyd doesnt really fight in rhythm man, thats what makes him tough to figure out. He'll start dancing one minute and come with a lead right hand or left hook out of no where. Thats why i think manny is going to get beaten for like 6 rounds straight.

Manny's defense is his offense, theres no way he gets out of the way of those lead off punches imo.

If Floyd takes the game inside, it's game over for Manny, coz IMO Manny has NO inside game frolics, and I bet Roach didn't have that coming.

That is...if Floyd can come close.

True fans of Manny who know him by heart though, will swear that since his early Blow-by-Blow days in the Philippines, when he is taken inside he skirmishes relentlessly with the foe, and all of a sudden you'll see his opponent being knowcked out. Though he failed with Torrecampo once.

But that facet of Manny was gone since he had Roach as his trainer.

So we'll see if Manny still has that frolic in his early days when Floyd decides to take the game inside, but it will definitely be one-sided for Floyd.

Again, that is....if Floyd can come close....

my only fear coming into this fight is that floyd dies.

i don't want floyd to die.

i want floyd fighting for years , old and past it while youngsters beat the crap out of him.

I agree. I don't know if it's just me, but Pacquiao looked slow when he fought Marquez in their second bout, i just noticed that yesterday after i'd rewatched the fight. I still think the fight will be competitive, but Pacquiao might look slower in that fight as well.

Floyd does well against boxers, you take away his space and press him you already throw him off his game. He is quicker than the guys that have tried that so far, i.e; Hatton and DLH but you notice how they seemed to have success against Floyd though. I think Manny has the speed and volume to really trouble Floyd should they fight. I don't see how as aggressive and active as Pac is that people are saying Floyd will dismantle him easier than any other opponent.

It is going to be hard to counter what you can't see first off and I doubt Pac is going to set there and want to hold a conversation with Floyd and touch gloves every 5 seconds like Mosley did.

well, i see roach studying on that already. and pac has the speed also. what i thought is, what if floyd tried to fight inside anytime during the round and discovered that his skill is not even at par with manny. he could exploit it for the rest of the rounds til the twelfth. but still not that easy to come close against pac (just thought bout this idea lol)
