All the idiots who are taking their daily shots at Mayweather should keep in mind that this info comes only from Bob "I-was-lying-yesterday-I-am-telling-the-truth-today" Arum. He lied about the drug tests before the mediator "corrected" him. He has lied about everything that can be lied about. You should take this at face value. We don't know if everything has been worked out or not until we hear from Mayweather's side. And they are still honoring the gag order.

Arum told SI.com that Mayweather has until mid-July to make a decision.

"This really depends, as I see it, on whether Mayweather wants to fight [Pacquiao]" Arum said. "By mid-July, he's either in or out. We're not going to wait forever. We're going to have a fight on Nov. 13 and we would love it to be Mayweather."

Arum said that if Mayweather passed on the fight, they could still make a deal under the negotiated terms next year.

"Nobody is under any obligation to fight this year," Arum said. "He may need more time. When he is ready, we are prepared to do the fight."

Possible alternative opponents for Pacquiao are Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito.

So Pac-Margarito "possibly" because Bob Arum who damn near everybody says is a liar said so.

But, it will happen in the Philippines right? Thrilla in Manilla? I mean where else would they fight at? I know they won't fight in Mexico...

That scenario is very possible. They might not be looking for Floyd best interest. They might be looking for their best interest.

GBP are just as big of snakes as any other promotional company if not even bigger.

Lets not forget that Oscar was not looking out for Pac best interest.... Somebody who GBP has a stake on with his flip flopping comment about how hard Pac hits.

Since none of Mayweather Promotions was there at the negotiation table, maybe there was some sort of minimum or set of agreements that Team Pac had to agree to before even presenting the contract to Team May? Hopefully that is the case.

Arum is full of ****. They probably sent a contract to Mayweather with 50-50 purse, the fight in Dallas, and 14-day window for drug testing. When Mayweather rejects this, it will make him look bad but in reality that is none of what Floyd was asking for.

It might sound dodgy.... Doesn't necessary means Margarito is the next possible opponent.

Margarito is not even licensed in the US... When/if he ever gets a license talks about a potential match up between the two are very premature.

As of June 30 Margarito has no license. As of right now that fight has zero percent chances of happening.

Lets not forget that Margarito was suppose to fight on the undercard of Pac-Clottey. But, he couldn't get his license, In May he fought in Mexico cuz he couldn't get his license, it was rumored that he might also fought on the JCC Jr-Duddy undercard but again no license still....

Did Arum not have pull back then to get his license and all of sudden now does? Or is it possible that he might not have the pull that WE think he has. And, maybe he can not get this man his license. Since hasn't been able to get it so far.

Instead of going with this whole Pac-Margarito in November. Why not just wait till Margarito get his license if he can? Because, as of right now Margarito not having a license=that fight not happening ever.

Unless they're fighting in the Philippines but with the dollar exchange rate could they get the enough pesos to make it possible?

Bingo!!! I have been saying this for a while, Arum makes more money putting Pac in there with any other Top rank fighter because he would cut from 2 purses, So unless he makes more from the Mayweather fight than his own two fighters combined he wouldnt risk Pac in there with Mayweather.

You need to look at the numbers. The live gate for the Mayweather/De La Hoya fight was $18 million and the PPV numbers were 2.4 million. The live gate for Pac and Cotto was 8.8 million and for Pac/Clottey it was 5 million (total $13 million live gate) and the combined PPVs added up to 1.9 million for the two fights.

If Mayweather/Pac does better than Mayweather/De La Hoya, Arum will definitely make more money than he would in two fights between Pac and Cotto and Pac and Margarito. Pac/Cotto would probably not sell 1 million on PPV and Pac/Margarito wouldn't sell more than 500,000. This is a no brainer for Arum IF WHAT HE SAYS IS TRUE.

Both guys with horrible reputation in Arum and Oscar both said is a go... But, again they have a reputations as liars. So you have to take their word with a grain of salt.

And, if somehow it doesn't get done the blame shouldn't automatically go to Floyd... We honestly don't know what the demands are from either side for this negotiations.

We have to wait and see how this plays out.

Lolz. "*******s" would love this fight to happen. Pbf is easily one of the most hated sport guys in the Philippines right now. Janitors, guards, executives here in the PI even grandmothers want Pac to bash his head. Just think of those people as *******s and your statement is disproved.

Yes, and that hate turns into money. Mayweather and Pacquiao don't care about that. Same formula as Mayweather vs Hatton and Mayweather vs De La Hoya. Nothing new. Floyd plays a great villain. The more hate the better.
