Unfortunately you're in the minority. Arum's words seem to be the bible to a lot of people these days. Even when he's been caught and called out on lying.

No one would ever pay for another Floyd fight if that were true. Or at least I woudln't. On the other hand I can't believe a thing Arum says. I'll get excited when the press conference to announce the fight is on.

And why do you say I'm being negative? Because I take Arum's words with a grain of salt? Get real. I want to see this fight happen and I'll be the first to applaud Manny if he accepts the fight with OST. I'm just not ready to hop on Arum's nuts just because he said something.

Thats pretty much my take on things, Arum says a lot of things... so no need to jump to conclusions. Like last time, he felt the need to run to the media as quick as he could and make up lies about what had happened, which people decided to run with until Floyd and his team disputed it.

As I just said, everyone should just wait and see what happens and not jump to conclusions because it all may not be what it seems.

I'm thinking the same thing............ uncle Bob already knows what Floyds demands are, and the take it or leave it is a sign that Pac/Margs is already signed.
This is just a smokescreen to make it look as if they've made an effort, but really its just to sway peoples attention.
Notice he didn't. Go into details, 0 cut offs or spilt. If he'd agreed to Floyds demands then I'm sure he would have given the info.

I was happy for a second there, I thought this was genuine news until i find out that BOB ****ING ARUM was the source of the whole story/article then my happiness turned sour.

I seriously believe that if Manny didn't want the fight, Arum would never entertain the thought. Everyone's talking about what a big payday it would be for Arum but 27% of Pac's purse is less than two purses and cutting out the other guy. Plus, Mayweather is Pacquiao's cashout fight. Which means Arum loses yet another (see: Oscar, Floyd). Whose gonna replace him?

He lies a lot to fit his agenda, like when he turned around and said "we offered 24 days and Floyd said no! Hes a coward! We even got doctors in to reassure him that it would make no difference and he still said no... evem Schaefer tried to persuade him, he just scared!" (something along those lines), everyone decided to run with it, including Ronnie especially.

Then Floyd, his team and Schaefer said that it wasn't true and that Manny wanted 30 Floyd wanted 0 so he offered 14 to which Manny said no and offered 24, but Floyd had already improvised more and offered to meet half way so he said no, and then Schaefer also said that the persuading part was complete bull****.

Promoters lie to fit there agenda, thats what people need to realise... they shouldn't just run with everything somebody says, as much as I want too because I want to see the fight.
