Roach is a GREAT TRAINER NO DOUBT

HOWEVER, look at the fighters his fighters are looking good against lets be honest here, Roach fighters are signed to the best Match Makers in Boxing Khan with Golden Boy, Chavez with Top Rank (Pacman is on another level so he is not included)

when Khan beats Maidana, Alexander, Bradley and that chin really get tested again he doesn't buckle then Roach gets credit for his work with Khan and until Chavez does that against top opponents in his division then I am not buying the "I beat John Duddy so I am good now" HYPE, do that against Cotto or Margarito or Angulo or Sergio Martinez or Paul Williams then Roach gets the credit for working with Chavez

what about all the other guys they train? It's interesting that only a few have become stars or are on the verge of becoming stars. Interesting that literally dozens of fighters trained by these same people don't amount to ****.

I guess it has nothing to do with natural ability, working hard, determination, etc.

Can Roach & Ariza really change any boxer… yes and no! as with previous comments, some of the boxers are champ material to begin with. The combo of training and nourishment makes a difference. Ariza, to his credit is a highly educated person who choose to utilize his acquired skills in boxing. From what was read, the so-called ‘shakes’ are tailored for each individual. To get in the wild card gym is that not easy. Promoters who invested on their potential assets are likely the ones calling Roach. An ordinary individual like me is never invited. I like the shakes though…

Ariza implants Saiyan genes into Wild Card Gym fighters. Then Roach puts them in the hyperbolic time chamber lol!

They have seen the success that Pac has had and that he achieved this through hard work and dedication under Roach's tutelage. Roach calls guys out when they don't step up to the plate such as Guillermo Rigondeaux, who is definitely a quality fighter but did not put in the work that Roach though he needed to so he was quietly moved out of the camp.

All these guys that Roach trains were champs before they trained under he and Ariza but just needed to be pushed to bring out their best. The best boxers recognize the best trainers and seek them out.

Give JCC jr some credit. He was a lazy bum and didn't take the sport seriously. He seems to have worked hard for this fight. Yes Freddie and Ariza can change fighters but the fighters have to be willing to put in the hard work and change themselves. What Freddie and Ariza bring is a tough routine and lots of discipline. Freddie doesn't like people that mess around and are lazy
