The answer is all of the above. Roach is a good trainer. Ariza is most likely a good conditioning coach, and a lot of fighters don't really have conditioning coaches and prefer to train the old-school way. And there is some very good match making going on between Arum and Roach. They get their guys in the ring with the right opponents, for the most part. There are few fighters who really fight everyone, because promoters don't want to risk their fighters losing. The promoters are pretty much the ones ruining boxing, keeping us from seeing the matches we want to see.

i think when roach gets them there ready to give boxing 100%.
not everyone has what it takes but anybody can get much better
when they give every part of what they do every thing they have.
maybe roach wont work with you if you dont.attention to details
is the key, diet, strenth training, boxing, sleep, there all links in the same
            chain.

Sometimes I can't believe what the hell I'm reading on these boards. Common sense has been lacking with many of these posters as of late.

How in the world beating a Duddy makes him and his corner impressive?

Cotto beats Foreman and still his shot.. Chavez beats Duddy, then all of a sudden his corner is awesome.. Thank heaven above Chavez did'nt KO'ed Duddy, or boxingscene would have been making statues of Chavez Jr.

Or can they really change any bum fighter and turn them in Top P4P material?

I'm not hating, what do you guys think of the Roach and Ariza duo? serious question guys.

you are ****** if you think roach and ariza changed chavez jr.
they made improvements of him as a fighter not changed.

I'm just glad Teri Tom was mentioned in this thread. Some people think it's just Roach and Ariza behind the scenes.
