LOL, i've seen PAC and Amir at WildCard(not at the same time), and PAC is the faster guy. I can't tell who is faster between PAC and The Pretender, I ain't seen The Pretender in person yet, but, the fact that PAC is able to land multiple combos with consistency is solid proof of how incredible his speed is.
You definitely need to whisper that into The Pretender's ear, because he obviously doesn't have the same confidence as you. I mean, how the f**k does someone think that someone will be easy work and at the same time doesn't think he'd be on an even playing field without a f**kin' blood test, lmao.
And to the thread starter, yeah, I think PAC has lost some speed, I don't know about alot, the moment PAC starts to get caught just as much as he's giving will be the sign that his reflexes are starting to betray him.Comment

He has lost handspeed substantially.
Anyone who can't see that is in denial, or has
ulterior motives for claiming they can't.
Also, Burner is correct (I know, I know, 'tis a
sign of the fucking Apocalypse). Floyd's one-off
snaps can be slightly faster, even though Floyd
himself has slowed since his younger days.Comment

yes he has lost some speed but compared to the guys he's fighting he's quick as lighting. The bigger guys are used to more power, and less speed, whereas pac is used to fightin g speedy guys, and he can take a punch, thus he excels in the ring.Comment

I think his speed has always been ridiculously overrated. He was always fast, but never close to the fastest or even one of the fastest. He had very good speed and threw a lot of combo's which made him look faster but against his best opponents the speed difference hasn't been that noticeable.Comment

Hmmm, but it's also true that both Oscar and Hatton were faster in their fights with Floyd. Hatton was quicker on his feet and with his hands and Oscar was much quicker in general. If it is an accurate measure I thought Manny showed much faster handspeed against Oscar than Floyd did. The same is true in their bouts with Hatton.
I use these two fights because they are common opponents. Because comparing two fighters against different opponents is meaningless.
I would have used Marquez but It was obvious the added weight slowed him down jumping up al the way to welterweight.Comment
