Has Pac lost alot of hand speed to you??

I know this has been mentioned time and time again. It seems the consensus is that Floyd is the quicker with 1 punch and Pac with combinations. I was watching highlights of Pac/Cotto and Mayweather/Mosley and in my eyes(hopefully not too bias), Pac has lost a lot of hand speed in the move to 147. In some places to me, he doesn't really look very quick at all. Am I crazy? This is not an insult to Pac and I'm not trying to knock him, just wanted some other honest opinions. Compare the two and give ur opinion.

You have made a good point. If PAC comes at Floyd with those combinations he will end up on his back.

Hes very fast but not faster than guys like Floyd and Amir.

Pac is great at letting combos fly but Floyds single shots are way faster.

He's slower. Just watch YouTubes of him shadowboxing. Age, and moving up to 147 will do that to you.

If it is an accurate measure I thought Manny showed much faster handspeed against Oscar than Floyd did. The same is true in their bouts with Hatton.

I use these two fights because they are common opponents. Because comparing two fighters against different opponents is meaningless.
I would have used Marquez but It was obvious the added weight slowed him down jumping up al the way to welterweight.

No disrespect, but I don't understand why you say comparing hand speed against different opponents is meaningless. Regardless of the opponent, u want to get your shots off as quickly as possible, correct? Yes, I can understand a difference in timing, but even if u compared the Pac/DLH to Floyd/DLH(u can't compare the Hatton fight, cuz it was fought at 140 and he should've been at least a bit faster than at 147), that doesn't take into account the fact that DLH would've fought both fighters in a different manner. The only constant is the fact that all fighters involved would want thier punches to be as fast as possible. What am I missing ?

Not saying he is on them or not, but losing some speed would be expected, even on PED's. The part I have some questions about is KO's of far bigger guys, when he wasn't even knocking everyone out at the lighter weights.

I agree with some your post. Not sure what you meant by saying Pac doesn't look really quick at all. Initially, it seemed like he was getting faster, but that's only because he's fighting bigger, slower guys at 147. When you compare recent fights with his older fights, you can see a slight decline in speed. But he still the fastest puncher around his weight class. Khan and Floyd may have faster single shots, but no one throws quicker combos than Pac.
