Either way, when the NSAC brought in an "expert" whose main problem was the possibility that fighters got an infection, because needles might be REUSED, I knew right there there was an agenda. Even junkies have access to free needles these days. That stuff is NOT expensive.

To be honest, That was a disgrace piece of work from the NSAC and their "Experts" but the funny thing was some people on here actually read that article and backed the so called "Experts".

It was plain to see what the NSAC was trying to do and with their "Experts" and that was to get OSDT declared unsatisfactory for boxing.

So Ray....what do you think??....if a fighter fails the test for HIV in his blood work a couple of weeks before a fight should we bother stopping the fight if the promoters spent a few mil?? Or should we not give a **** and let the poor prick get HIV without having even had the pleasure of railing a dirty skank to get it???

Besides, the way the media works, someone is going to find out what is going on. If it is the commission implementing the testing as would eventually happen (hopefully), the results would be made public.
Sorry, if this has been said before, but I'm not going to read all 5 pages just to find out if it has been posted.

Anywho, you can bet your sweet bippy that the info wouldn't come out until after the fight. They'll say that it took that long for the results to come in and then declare the fight a NC or ND, like they did to James Toney when he beat John Ruiz and his test came back positive for Marijuana (which, we all know, doesn't enhance anyone's performance).

So, the foreigner would come, see the fight, and enjoy himself. The decision being changed after the fact won't affect the money or the fact that people will travel to see their favorite fighters. What it will do is seriously diminish the popularity of the fighter who gets caught, and probably cost him dearly (maybe even his career, depending on who it is).

What we also have to look out for are false positives. The last thing we need is a test coming back positive for opiates when all the fighter did was eat a burger on a poppy seed bun.

No, I'm actually in favor of enhanced steroid testing, as I've said in other threads. I'm just looking at the other side of the coin. The immediate results could bring a downside to boxing.

But I would like to see PED testing enhanced and regulated stricter.

None of them have been about Pacquia or Mayweather, as neither trains on the East coast.

It's a very, very interesting take on it. Imagine if Mayweather-Mosley would've revealed cheating, say 2 weeks prior to the event - all that promotion, hype and money spent for nothing.

Kinda makes me think twice about wanting it now. Everyone should take a big step back and think about this.

Yeah, now imagine you're the opponent fighting clean.
