I almost want to agree with you. Dawson is technically sound and his chin has been tested too.

This is why no one takes you seriously man.

if he came down to 168 I think Dirrell and Ward could beat him.

That's the only factor for me, how will he be at 168 health wise. As far as skill goes, you heard Mayweather said it himself "Chad Dawson is the best fighter in the world". And Hopkins said Mayweather is the best fighter of his era. And Hopkins is an ATG. Hopkins I think he ducked Dawson deep inside. he says that he wants to promote him some day and doesn't want to ruin his career, but deep inside I know Hopkins feels Dawson is just too much for him at this point.

I would favor Dawson over any of those guys I mentioned. Dawson is just too much for those guys. I really like Abraham, Ward, Pascal and Dirrell, but Dawson would beat them imo.

I'm gonna go on record and pretty much agree with this thread. Dawson isn't my favorite fighter or anything. But he gets the job done. People know I'm high on Tavoris Cloud's abilities as well, but I don't want to form a full conclusion until I see how he looks against Glen Johnson which is a fight that I think definitely will be a test for him.

Chad doesn't need to chase fighters around by dropping down to 168. They will all come to him sooner, rather than later. Pascal moved up after his first loss.

By the end of the first stage of the Super 6, I see Allan Green and someone else either fighting 1 more fight against Bute or moving up to 175. After the semifinals, there'll either be rematches, Bute, or moving up. Dawson has 2 (4 if Hopkins and Calzaghe want it), seeing his schedule that will last him until Feb., March, or April. He'll have more opponent to choose from by that time.

I just want to see how Dawson deals with Pascal's movement and speed because if he deals with it well, these other fighters are ****ed. It's about time I get a Dawson gif too.

Chad is an excellent fighter though, one of the best currently in the game.
