PPv numbers for the Mayweather vs Mosely garnered 1.4million. 2 americans in their homeland. While Pacman who is a foreigner who fought cotto who is just as popular as mosely got 1.250 million ppv.

Plus, considering Pac is the fighter of the decade, pound for pound king, and 7 division champ. Pac is definitely giving a lot on the table to make this a PPV success.

Pac's credentials and Mayweathers credentials are the reason this is suppose to break PPV all time record.

If Floyd has to be a greedy bastard the most he can ask is 55/45 no more no less. If it's 60/40 he is definitely ducking the fight again plain and simple.

He is over pricing himself if he asks more than a 55/45 split.

Common sense should dictate a 50/50 split, but just so it happens 55/45 is fine with me and most fans, more than that is just crazy talk, Boxing fans make this fight happen!

If Floyd will insist to a 60/40 boxing fans should expose Floyd as the ducker he really is!

So far this thread has shown that 50/50 is the way to go. Hopefully Floyd and his gang of thugs can see that and make this fight happen for the millions of boxing fans who want to see this fight.

A 50/50 purse split is more than fair for both fighters. I believe GBP needs to abide for the fair split just because they need to generate enough money to cover up loses they incurred during the Mosley/Mayweather fight.

first logical post I have seen from you....I completely agree. 55/45 is the limit that floyd can recieve because with the amount of ppv it will sell 10% diff is already huge. I would prefer he do 50/50 to make sure this shiznit gets done

no its not fair cus i remember mayweathers last fight he has the biggest hype behind him and GBP value he was exposed to over 4 million PPV buyers.. yet he only pulls in like 1.5 million, he is a cash cow failure

that's like me making a movie with tom cruise and putting 100 million in advertising and production only to pull in 80 million

while pacquiao like the blair witch project movie where it was made with 100k and made over 100 million, pulls in 700k with very minimal advertising and no 24/7 on HBO
