in his defense he really didnt get clobbered until years later when he lost to Funeka.

he did lose before that but was far from clobbered in my opinion.

Freitas won a close but justified decision and Funeka schooled him. And when you lose to a limited fighter like Rock Juarez by a wide margin yeah you have no buisness being mentioned as a fighter that the #1 PFP boxer in the world ducked.

i dont think Manny ducked him at all, I just think EVERBODY said forget that dude theres bigger fish to fry.

But about that Rocky fight, I dont know if you saw it but it was one of THE worst hometown screwjobs ive ever seen. The ref was constantly taking points away and then the judging was horrendous.
Even the HBO guys were stunned by the blatant Hometown bias the Ref was showing.

If you havent watched it before, look it up. it is brutal.

I'm a far bigger supporter of Manny than I am Raheem, trust me. But for a few years there, he was avoided like the plague but that doesnt necesasarily mean "ducked"

Pacquiao avoids these slick type of fighters.

Pac would be exposed if he had fought Raheem.

go back and look at the Rankings in that division at the time, both Nate Campbell and Zahir Raheem was ranked just as high as Manny and all of those fighters Manny went on and beat, so to say "they wasn't worthy" is complete BS...but David Diaz was worthy of a match with Manny? lol

stop making excuse and admit that Bob Arum and Freddie Roach cherry pick for Manny and give him match ups they feel comfortable with which was many of the great Mexican Fighters who stand and fight and because of Manny speed he was able to dominate against that style because of his hand speed, just like Mosley' dominates against that style because of the hand speed advantage

I agree with the other poster...

                youre an Idiot!

Dude it's not like 4 years haven't passed for Zahir Raheem to do nothing with his career and fall into complete obscurity. No real need to ask him if he watched the fights the bottom line is that nobody ducked Raheem.
