Why didnt pac ever fight zahir raheem?

That would depend...on whether Raheem was actually drained or not. I suspect he would put up a good fight and that would kill that theory.

Yeah and it was the rubber match of a trilogy. You act like trilogies are something new in this sport. And in place of Raheem? Why just Raheem? Again there were plenty of other b level fighters who were just as good or even better in the lightweight division at the time (Fritas,Corrales,Casamayor,Castillo) that were much more deserving of a shot at Pac. Lets also not forget that not a boxing expert in the world cares that he didn't fight Raheem because as I said a hundred times before Zahir Raheem is a complete and utter nothing when compared to all the great fighters pac ended up fighting over the past 5 years. Seriously the guy went onto fight nothing but studs and you are going to bash him because he didn't fight some middle of the road contender. **** Raheem wouldn't even crack the top 15 of Pac's 15 toughest opponents.

Not every two fights deserves a trilogy. Did Montell Griffin and Roy Jones have one? Come on, man. Even you know this better than anyone else because Pac shut down a third match with Marquez like RIGHT AFTER they fought a second time. No need for a trilogy then? One other question! If Raheem was so deserving of a shot at pac why did he go on to do nothing with his career.

Pac wasn't p4p #1 then and Rahim hadn't fought either at the time. And I don't think Freitas beat him anyway.

Look at Pavlik. Gets lost once there is a little movement infront of him.

I don't know who those many were... I never saw them at that time. Everybody I talked to and knew had Pac winning the fight beforehand. The rematch was different though. I knew a few who thought Morales could win the rematch. But, didn't know any who though he could win the third fight.

There are/were many Erik Morales DIE-HARDS.. But I agree. I knew it was a wrap as soon as it was announced.
