We all know the reason, but politcal correctness is preventing the truth being spoken on these forums

SIMPLE, Pac wins = drained. Pac lose = not drained.

Again there were plenty of other b level fighters who were just as good or even better in the lightweight division at the time (Fritas,Corrales,Casamayor,Castillo) that were much more deserving of a shot at Pac. Lets also not forget that not a boxing expert in the world cares that he didn't fight Raheem because as I said a hundred times before Zahir Raheem is a complete and utter nothing when compared to all the great fighters pac ended up fighting over the past 5 years. Seriously the guy went onto fight nothing but studs and you are going to bash him because he didn't fight some middle of the road contender. **** Raheem wouldn't even crack the top 15 of Pac's 15 toughest opponents.
Not every two fights deserves a trilogy. Did Montell Griffin and Roy Jones have one? Come on, man. Even you know this better than anyone else because Pac shut down a third match with Marquez like RIGHT AFTER they fought a second time. No need for a trilogy then? But we need one for a fighter at the end of his rope? Try again.
One other question! If Raheem was so deserving of a shot at pac why did he go on to do nothing with his career.
Do you seriously argue this way? You can't use hindsight in this scenario. At all.

You really think a guy who cant beat Arcalino Fritas and Ali Funeka ever really deserved a shot at the current number 1 PFP fighter?
Pac wasn't p4p #1 then and Rahim hadn't fought either at the time. And I don't think Freitas beat him anyway.
In that case Floyd should of just went ahead and fought Mathew Hatton/Nate Campbell since we are gonna set the bar that low.
LOL. That's like someone saying, "Do you really think Floyd should've fought Castillo? The guy got KO'ed in four by Hatton and barelys c****d by Ngoudjo. Be serious.

Look at Pavlik. Gets lost once there is a little movement infront of him.
Marquez was a counter puncher for christ sake you have to be defensive first in order for you to counter.

And are you really comparing a big lumbering idiot like Kelly Pavlik to a blindingly fast fighter like Pac? Seriously?

There are/were many Erik Morales DIE-HARDS.. But I agree. I knew it was a wrap as soon as it was announced.
