1)Because pacquiao fought at 130 Raheem at 135. Pacquiao would not fight at 135 til 6 fights later.

2)Morales asked for the rubber match

3)Pacquiao wanted the 130lb wbc belt held by then rival Barrera.

4) Raheem would go on to lose his next 2 fights after Morales

Plus who could **** on Pac now, obviously he has made the right choise and entertained everyone, so how can you complain

We seen Pacquiao struggle against a stationary counter puncher who doesn't clinch in Marquez. So wouldn't it be interesting to see how Pacquiao would have fared against a counter puncher, who moves around and ties his man up?

I dont think he beats Marquez. Marquez is a great fighter and even though Raheem moves a little more doesnt mean he is better.

Im sure people rather see him fight Marquez then Raheem as he is the tougher challenge

But you don't think I took note of how ordinary Pacquiao looked against Solis and Cotto (When Cotto decided to move in the late rounds)? That to me was very telling. I still question how Pacquiao would have fared against Guzman, who's offensive arsenal wasn't in Marquez's league, but Guzman had the far superior hand speed, defense, footwork and he wasn't content on trading. He, unlike Marquez, would actually tie his man up. Raheem also had some of those same attributes. So I would have loved to see it...in that Pacquiao hasn't faced that kind of style. Wouldn't you?

True... Raheem was a weight class above which Morales tried to accomplish but lost..

Pac was in a trilogy with Morales at that time when he was parked at 130.

That Fight Card had Morales fighting Raheen and Pac fighting at 130 I believe it was with Velaquez..

Why didnt Pac fight Raheem, simple it was in a higher weight class which back then moving up in weight wasnt in their interest..
