I've seen Naugler a couple times and he is very defensive.

Looking at Lemiex's resume it is very impressive when taking into consideration the results of AA-Ayala and Duddy-Smitchet.

atlas is too negative. I think the person's job is to focus on the positives to at least not to ruin it or make the audience believe the guy they are watching is a ****ty fighter. I'm not saying to not be critical, but a lil hype and good things doesn't hurt.

David Lemieux looks promising, the sport needs yet another good exciting fighter with power and a strong following. I was also impressed with his accuracy. Lets give him more time to build and work on flaws since he is only 21.

I agree, someone above said he is sloppy and wide open, they couldn't be more wrong.

            Reckless? Yeah, maybe.

But his left hook is short and compact, anyone who tries to hook with him at 160 is getting KTFO.

His right hand is deceptive and very straight, he hit Ayala with a couple beautiful leads.

              Exactly.

He's not doing any good for the popularity of boxing - he's probably turning away potential fans.

Lemieux has stepped up in each of his last couple of fights. He wiped out Walid Smichdt in 2 rounds. Then Ayala in one. I think he's ready to step it up to better comp.

There is nothing impressive about Lemieux, IMO.

His footwork is bad, he has bad hand speed, he takes shots from fighters that shouldn't land cleanly, his jab has zero crispness, he's not fast and he lacks killer instinct.

He isn't making waves for a reason after what? 20 or 21 fights? 22? And no it's not because he's Canadian or whatever you racist fellow countrymen want to say, it's because everything I said above is true. Teddy knows more about boxing than anybody in this thread and if I can see it, I'm sure Teddy see's more than I.

Omar Henry will absolutely emasculate him in the first 90 seconds, and take his head off in the next 60 seconds for a Round 1 KO.

                    ^ Exactly

Teddy knows whats up hes been in the boxing game for 40+ years. Lots of great boxers come out of canada but this kid isn't anything special.

Really? Is that why Teddy picked Ayala to win?
