Love him or hate him for whatever reason, Cotto will be a HOF. Is it gonna happen as soon as he retires? More than likely not, but he'll be in there eventually.

Anyone who thinks otherwise either hates on Cotto or hasn't seen the stock of fighters who made the HOF in relation to saying Cotto hasn't fought anyone (which in itself is laughable).

Some people just can't be objective about quality opponents. I mean The 3 best wins on Cotto's resume are: Shane, Zab Judah, Paulie Malignaggi.

That is not HOF caliber. So what if he has won 4 titles. The weight class argument that holds for older fighters doesn't carry as much weight today because there are so many titles.
