Manny Pacquiao's speed will be the defining factor in the Pac-May fight

I agree with the speed. But it's not just the hand speed but the foot speed will be a key for Manny. His ability to jump in and out and his side to side movement.

Manny knows that Floyd will counter and he will have to tighten up his defense for this fight.

I'm pretty sure Manny and Freddie will come up with a great game plan to beat Floyd.

Floyd don't really study tapes. Well that's what he says, but he will adjust during the fight.

It will be a tough fight for both.

I'm pulling for Pacquiao to win UD. But a KO would be sweet.

What does pac do if he isnt midrange? he will be jabbed and set up with the straight right from the outside and pac has no inside game to speak of.

But as for the topic goes, I always thought the speed will be the issue for this fight. If he can out-speed Floyd, Floyd will be in for trouble. He will have to always punch as well. The moment he stops punching in bunches, is the moment the fight will change tides and a one sided affair will occur for the rest of the fight.

Nah bro. Mosley is a big hitter, 1 punch guy. If he could hurt Margarito bad, with every punch he threw, I wasn't surprised that he hurt Mayweather with the only hayemaker he landed.


Manny isn't like Mosley at all. Mosley has much more power than Manny. With his predictable style, as long as Mayweather can match speed and get the timing down. Manny will look like Phillip Ndou.

You know Freddie will tell him to go in and out. Punch in bunches and get out of there. Then reload again.

The difference I see between Floyd and Marquez even though they are both counter punchers, is that Marquez defense is also his offense.

You hear Nacho all the time tell Marquez to keep on punching. When he fought Manny, he blocked a lot of Manny's shot because he kept on punching.

Floyd's defense is to wait for his opponent to jump first then he hits you. It will be hard if the other guy is faster than you.

Floyd did it all night with Marquez and Mosley and if you see the slomo, you can tell Floyd beat them to the punch all night long.

It will not be the same when he fights Manny. Manny's hand and foot speed will give him trouble. And we will have to wait and see how he adjust to it.
