Shiiiiiiiit, I AM Mexican and I lost Respect for Margarito after the Mosley fight (I was at the Staples Center live rooting for Margarito). The fact is he was caught cheating, and coincidentally after they removed the plaster, HE got KTFO!!!! 2 facts you cant' deny something is up with Margarito! Go Cotto!!!

Cotto looked a lot better on his last fight but he still got a lot of work to do before going up against the big names. He seems to have better stamina but I still need to see him vs someone who takes his shots and is able to keep pressuring him.

as far as Steward leaving Cotto, none of those fighters that were mentioned paid Steward what Cotto pays him, this is business.

Chavez Jr. is a good fight for Cotto at this point, I agree. Let him develop a little more under Steward before going after some of the bigger names to finish up his career.

Cotto vs berto sounds good to me .
It would answer so much for berto, and give team stewart&cotto.
A real challenge? Berto has got quick hands cotto got the timing.

Berto would brutalize Cotto. I will be laughing the whole fight while he slices Cotto up and ends his career.

I think that berto vs cotto is a good, exciting fight for the fans. Makes sense for Berto to try to get a big name since he missed Mosley in January.

It does not make any economical sense for Cotto. Berto brings nothing to the table, it would not be a PPV. Eventhough Berto is the kind of opponent that Cotto usually steamrolls. Even if cotto wins every round if there is no knock out people will not give him any credit for the win. They will say he is a shot fighter and so forth.

I personally do not see Cotto back at 147 unless he fights Mayweather.

Looks like Cotto has made up his mind, anyone is better than that ***in ignorant bastard he used for the Pac fight who offered him absolutely no technical advice.

Their next fight will be the true indicater. Cotto would have done what he did to Foreman before. Maybe worse because he takes less chances now.
