I've not seen the fight yet but destroying someone who almost took Abraham the distance and drew with Sergio Mora is a very impressive result for a 21 year old.

Nice to see Vera get a win as well. I saw he was a big underdog for this one, the guy gives it his all everytime and always shows heart. 2 wins from your last 5 isn't bad form when you're brought in as an opponent for unbeaten prospects and top contenders.

    Perhaps we'll see Lemieux-Vera next.

ESPN needs to replace this loser.
Calm down... Teddy Atlas isn't always right but he's still the best in the business and offers informed opinions with solid logic. And not to take away from Lemieux's spectacular victory but Ayala had no head movement and couldn't slip or catch a lot of basic punches. I still need to see more of Lemieux before I become a believer.

That would be a quality matchup.

where the heck is Sam Soliaman? Limeniux should fight Sechew Powell in a title eliminator or Deandre Latimore.

yeah exactly, it took abraham 12 rounds to ko ayala, lemieux wasted no time, ayala even won rounds against abraham, and i seriously think that ayala's chin WASNT shot stepping in against lemieux.

lemieux throws a great solid, full body left hook, he really gets power behind it, something i like to see in a fighter..........

i think the kid is promising, i'd like to see him step up in competition and fight more often, he comes to knock his opponents head off, good for boxing.

the point giver wants to throw massive uppercuts and haymakers at it.

                      enjoy the points, young rascal.
