Hmmmm a fantasy fight.

JCC's body punches would probably make Pacquiao piss and **** blood. Chavez one of the best and powerful body punchers of all time. And Pac oftentimes very open to body attacks.

Pac's chance at JCC would come where JCC is vulnerable IMO, eating straights and jabs. And Pac's ability to cut the ring to chase Chavez would also play zing a bit.

But how Pac is an effective ring cutter, this also applies to Chavez, JCC would hound Pac no end as well. That takes the carrot.

Tough call, could go either way. But the tangibles point to JCC winning a very slim split decision. But hey, Pac always comes out surprising everyone no matter what the odds are...

(correct me here someone). I recall Jose Luis Castillo, who was his sparring partner for over 6 years speaking about it and the wonderful experience and know-how he gained from those 6 years.

Around the Camacho time, Chavez was close to 80-0 and his chin was impervious to assault. I can't believe that manny, even at his best, could beat THAT Chavez.

People that say Chavez was a brawler don't understand or watch much boxing. Chavez was an excellent boxer, so much so that his physical limitations were never limitations at all. He used timing and pressure to take the speed advantage away from fighters that were faster than him.

Yup augmentation welcome =). Manny is really susceptible to budy punches, it's that early in his career that he didn't quite improve on yet.

His granite chin IMO continued past Camacho, even though Randall caught him at one time. And probably that grit and fire JCC is known for had something to do with his overall toughness.

In terms of style that sentence is not credible. Sweet Pea need not be mentioned alongside Pac in the same sentence as styles makes fights.

Manny didn't take body punches well against Marquez the second time either.

Hence Manny's stick therapy was born. Marquez's punches to the body to Pac did bother him a bit, though the rest is history.
