LOL@people here thinking that chavez will win against pac in their prime. Pac has just too much in everything. Pac will make chavez like a punching bag, he's just too slow for pac to be even competitive. But since this is just a fantasy match up, i have to say chavez by murder in round 1, pac should never win in a fantasy match up.

Some of you guys gotta rewatch the Chavez vs Taylor fight!!!!!!! Nothing could hurt Chavez in his prime. Chavez walked down his competition taking shots to the head and delivering bone crushing punches So for you guys saying Chavez has no chance against Pacman you are crazy, it would be a great fight, but the body shots would be too much for Pacman. Meldrick Taylor was pissing blood for almost a week after the Chavez fight. I'd have to put my money on Chavez.

Manny Pacquiao made his name mainly off of beating Mexican fighters. I think Pacquiao beats Chavez, Pacquiao's weakness is counterpunching and good jabbing, and you can't stay in front of him if you don't have good counterpunching. 2009 Pacquiao is a different beast, he's bigger, stronger, just as fast, same footwork as ever and has more than just the straight left, taking punches from WW's like Cotto, Clottey, blowing out undefeated 140 pounder Ricky Hatton in 2 rounds(undefeated at at 140 at the time). Pacquiao UD's Chavez I think. If I was betting it would be on Pacquiao but I would be pretty concerned with every body shot, if he lands any, that Chavez lands.
