‘DLH ruined boxing’ may not be a fair nor accurate statement. It will take future historians to look back and be able to compare yesterdays and todays boxing. Like the stock market it has ups and downs. As for those boxers who go broke, most if not all develop some habits they can not sustain. I for one think of boxing as an intertainment and a sport where an underfrtunate can be become somebody.

That is why you can vote with your wallet. Really if we use some of these logic in this thread that we wont see, Pacquaio destroying Oscar and not be waiting for a Floyd and Pacquaio fight.

Also Oscar is the wrong person to use an example since he actually wanted to fight everybody. The only cherry pick fight we can use is the Pacquaio fight, but that fight greatly backfired on him..

Your logic doesn't apply. Why are the lowere weights callin out Marquez and Vasquez? Coz they're the big money fight IN THE DIVISION. Lower weight RARELY earn as much as the higher division. As one poster said it, with legacy comes the money. Floyd, Pac, also took short ends to get where they are now.

One thing that I just cant understand is why people mainly pac fans classify manny pacquiao as someone who doesnt fight for money and cares more about his fans than the money. From what I heard dude is harder to negotiate with in terms of purse than mayweather or delahoya and that he burns through money like toilet paper when he gets back to the phillipines( Bob Arum said something to that extent before)

I'm not sure how he ruined boxing.

hhhhmmmm. we have different premises on ur reply.

u say dela hoya, and i reply to larryx with no particular boxer. see that we use plural not singular on subject.
