Make sure your kids focus on defense like Mayweather Jr., you don't want them to end up like Ali....

Who cares about living the lifestyle of a boxer....whether its in a 1 room hut or a 10 bedroom mansion....boxers should live/eat/breathe the gym.

          Sparring is just that...sparring.

Good luck to you and your son! For real for real!
          thanks alot

Okay, this is Sutherland's 2nd pro fight despite the banner saying it's his pro debut. I have a problem calling someone a boxer after one fight because of this.

After your first fight... I have trained Boxing for 2 and a half years but I still haven't had even one fight, so when people ask I always say I train boxing, I never say I am a boxer.

2nd fight we used 16oz gloves.
3rd fight we used 12oz gloves.

I'm training this summer hard so I can hopefully fight at Chicago Golden Gloves as a novice.
Strange, normally amateurfights are with 10oz gloves?
There's also often sparring with 10oz gloves
                    And rounds are 2 minutes.

There is a difference between a rookie boxer and an elite boxer.
