IF COTTO SAYS NO THE FIGHT DOESN'T HAPPEN. Cotto was going to make his biggest payday ever. So he had to say yes to 145.

Look, Manny is as big a a$$hole as floyd or ODH when he has the leverage and the power. He doesn't have it against floyd. If he wants to make the biggest payday of his career then he has to do like cotto did or floyd (vs ODH). Manny is no different then anyone else.

What Mayweather "did" to JMM wouldn't be an issue with Pacquiao because they would be fighting at 147. When has Mayweather come in over the welterweight limit in a title fight?

Because Manny knew Cotto can make the 145 weight. Cotto came in at 146 for Clottey. Cotto even had an interview that he said that he can make 145 weight.

agreed about the hypocrisy. floyd is the greater draw, numbers dont lie. my point was that his excuse about the commission is bogus.

He should have fought Miguel at 147. Heck he had fought Oscar at 147 and weighed in more than Oscar on fight night.

I'll ask again, why was it necessary?

Manny did that and accepted a little bit over 30% against Oscar. But now he feels that he is in the same level.

This fight will be the biggest for both of them. Not just Manny.
