We have been handed fights by HBO lately that are no threats to their bigger fighters. Khan/Ortiz/Cotto/Williams all fought fighters that couldn't take advantage of any of their weaknesses.

If we ressurected Wilfredo Benitez RIGHT NOW in the 140 dvivison, I can guarantee you that everyone in that divsion would scatter like headless chickens and retire. GUARENTEED.

Comparing Ali and Khan? What is the point of this? People need to cool down on Khan on both sides of the argument. He's a young athletically gifted fighter who is only 23 and has fought and demolished most of his limited opposition. He looked very impressive jabbing the dreads off of Malignaggi and then said he'd start fighting often and against better opposition.

Until we are able to view more of his career lets stop comparing him to anyone and remember that almost every fighter eventually gets caught. I remember a certain Cassius Clay getting staggered and floored in Wembley circa 1963. The bell rang though.

MmuhammadM, I picked you out as a hard core Khan fan happy to turn a blind eye to the antics of Khan's protective management and hype machine. Other than watching Ali fights what made you wake up? Most die hard Khan fans don't look at the track record but the hype and the hope like ***** supporters. What was the thing that made you say enough to the charade or was it a gradual accumulation of things that made you say enough is enough ?

if he fights Casamayor then that is a ****in JOKE

Katsidis or Maidana (if he can get his issues with his Manager resolved) should be his next fight Not a OLD Casamayor

The fight I would like to see is Khan Alexander but there is more chance of this recession/depression being over next week than that happening. Casamayor is his most likely next fight.

No its not. The July 31 date is off. Amir is likely to fight JMM or Maidana in december.

We will see . The July 31 date is off but Casamayor could well be his next opponent for Khan's next "BIG" fight instead of the stay busy fight. Another canned fight sold as a real deal. I am still waiting for Kan's first competative fight but this fight fits the pattern so far.
