You and MmuhammadM should keep praying for his downfall.

He should follow a similar career pattern. He could have taken on the best champion at 140ib instead of kotelnik.

        Wouldn't that be better?
There aren't many who go all out today.

The fighters of the past end up broke.

Khan is a money man, and that is sad but also it's his life.

Muhammad ALi is absolutely stacked with money right now. Probably even more than when he retired.

That's a good thing because of his health.

You guys are gonna be licking your scummy chicken bone words when Khan whacks out Maidana in seven.

He WILL outbox Maidana easily and theres an almost definite KO and a definite UD there when you consider the Kotelnik KO'd Maidana.

If he hits Prescott up sometime it will be a walk in the park.

When he faces Ortiz that will be a UD for Khan.

He will UD Bradley and perhaps KO Campbell.

Could SD Alexander but am not going that far.

Awesome post... I remember when Kotelnik KO'd Maidana too.

It was an SD that some disputed.

                He has been broke.

He is rich now because he goes on trips and is very famous, but look at his health?

Should Amir go through wars and end up ill?

I lvoe the sport but if anyone asked me, wuld you want to see Pac or Floyd if one ended up with parkinson's? I'd say Floyd is a ***** but even so, I wouldn't want that.

The difference Between Diamond and glass:

Is this going to be a consistent pattern in khans career?

                  what do you think?

I can't believe that this is what boxing has been reduced to.

No one has made any atttempt at ressurecting the duran/leonard/hearns era.

Sugar ray leonard and Thomas hearns never ducked each other. Now compare this with the B****ing that is going on in the 140 division.

You would be foolish not to notice a big difference in size of balls between the fighters of that era and this current one.

Sorry I digressed A little bit, the thread is still primarily about khan.
In Khan's defense it should be mentioned that Khan fights men his own weight
, while Ali usually outweighed his opponents significantly and even more so if you consider lean mass.

I don't think you can fault Khan for having a bad chin (especially not compared to Ali, who had a great one).

His chin is obviously poor, but that's not his fault. He didn't choose it and it's not that way as a result of not training hard or anything.

Also, you mentioned Ray Leonard, but many feel he was guilty of clever matchmaking.

I think Khan deserves criticism now because all you can judge someone on is their current and past behaviour. On the other hand it's not too late for him at all, and if he unifies the belts then no one will care about the cherry picking taht went on before he faced Bradley/Alexander/Maidana. Every great boxer has a few unspectacular names on their resume, even once they became champion. What matters is whether or not you have some great names amongst the not-so-great ones.

Nowadays people say 'de la Hoya fought everyone!'. In his prime they called him 'Chicken de la Hoya'. Funny how things change. They may change for Khan too.

My view is that people shouldn't condemn Khan's entire career so soon, but they also shouldn't defend his cherry picking because of him being young. Middle ground and all that.

That's not true, weight dosen't mean **** when you've got a killer punch.
I am assuming you've heared of earnie shavers right?

Anyway Ali did fight opponents that out weighed him.
