so vlad is on peds?there is NEVER a big discussion on VLAD on these boards....
mayweather and pacquiao are the 2 most popular fighters in the world. you can't seriously be asking why nobody is talking about KLIT, instead of manny or mayweather.
but yea, IMO, any fighter who straight out refuses OST's is on something.
hope that helps.Comment

Those aren't risks beyond what fighters go through everyday though. That is why it is a silly arguement.
It is like a chef argueing against using sharp kinifes because he doesn't want to cut himself~ even if you use the dullest knifes you may still iinjure (or) cut yourself.Comment

A test for HIV is mandatory when testing for other sexually transmitted disease, so yeah you have to get tested. But if they say you need to get tested, coz you look like a HIV carrier, ummm I would say no.Comment

This article will exposed the Pac fans as....all this article is saying is that testing may affect the use of the fighters arm if it's done incorrectly. They can develop an infection. The article never addressed the effectiveness of the test for steroids. Manny just need to take the damn test, because every single aspect of life is risky. Manny has continued to take one of the biggest risk in life by being a prizefighter, and might i add, to take the test, contrary to what these doctors are saying, is really minimizing that pugilistic risk by making sure your fights are done fairly.During the failed negotiations for a potential March 13 bout against unbeaten Floyd Mayweather, seven-division champion, Manny Pacquiao claimed that he did not want to have blood randomly drawn for drug testing within 14 days of a fight. Because most of these clowns say its not about Manny, but about the sport. There was hardly a peep on here about Wlad turning down OST in comparison to the talk we get about Floyd and Manny. Why is that? Answer: Because if Floyd isn't talking about it his fans don't care.
there is a problem if a fighter requests OST's and his opponent doesn't want to do them......NOBODY requested them in foreman-cotto, so you aren't making any sense.
I don't see the problem. OST is unofficial. Not taking the tests cannot hold up the fight unless one fighter needs to get his own way. This fight can be made without OST, and it is now arguable if OST is even that much superior a testing procedure given the facts outlined by experts in recent articles.Comment

So your girl tell you she does not have HIV that is good enough for you? What if some of your boys say some wild **** about her? She seems so nice and not like that would you not want to know for certain anyways?
I know how I would answer this querstion~Comment

Listen to yourself. There is a risk in doing HIV testing ...so why do it?Comment

This is an utterly false parallel. How does you getting a surgery which you may need in any way compare with Pacquiao taking a blood test as a caveat of a negotiation for a boxing match? It doesn't in any way, I'll answer the question. You can always get an infection, I fail to see how that is a real reason to not do something. They should be careful to avoid such things but as a reason not to do it come on.
If I go to the hospital I run the risk of getting an infection but that does not stop me from getting surgury I may need.
I know that the morons who troll this forum will automatically label me as both a ******* and a Floyd "hater." I don't give a **** about people that are so ignorant as to see the world in back and white. I do not oppose drug tests per se, but this whole ordeal is merely a bunch of nonsense. The drug test issue is being used, not only as a negotiating ploy, but also as a means to spread vitriol about the considerable accomplishments of Pacquiao. Floyd is the one with question marks as to whether he truly wants to fight. Frankly speaking, I think there is a fairly good chance that Floyd is truly ducking.
As for this article, it is about one aspect of the situation. The main point had to do with the risk of hematomas. It's funny how everyone subjectively ignores this point, and merely ridicules the (misplaced) discussion about hepatitis and AIDS (with nothing here occurring but such discussion being blatantly taken out of context). No one is making an argument that Pacquiao risks contracting hepatitis if he goes through with the tests. This is utterly absurd, and while this information did not belong in the article, the biased morons who support a fighter (any fighter) in every and all situations, regardless of whatever circumstances, will merely cling to any garbage they can conceive of.
The point is about hematomas and infections which could potentially arise from punctured skin. Even so, this is a small component of the overall issue.
On a side note, Floyd Mayweather is a coward. His last real fight was against JCC. Every single fight since, bar none, has been on his terms. There has been not one fight in which Floyd did not control the conditions of the event and essentially handpick the opponent. This is mere fact. The closes thing to an exception to this would be the ODLH fight, in which case the allure of money and potential stardom was enough to entice Floyd to take the fight, not entirely on his own terms. Even so, the fight was not so much a sporting event as it was a sideshow.
If Floyd-Pacquiao were to happen right now, I truly believe Floyd would be knocked out. I don't exactly think the fight is going to happen. Fraud Gayweather would rather carry on fighting hand picked opponents than take on a true challenge.Comment
