everyone has their own "experts" for their own agendas. the problem is doping in boxing. we know its there. so what we have to figure out is what is the best way to cover everyone not just a select few.

I'm not sure how it's complicated for these guys to understand you replace old inferior plans with newer better ones. That's some pretty simple logic. USADA has been in practice for how long now? Do you think they haven't tested anyone yet? How many athlete's have been tested under the world anti-doping code? I'm guessing the number is really really really big. There isn't anything about boxing that makes testing any different than any other sport.

The USADA methods are unproven in pro boxing at this point. Its been done for what, a grand total of, lol,

If the problem is to be solved, there needs to be a large round table with all major sanctioning bodies and governing commissions.

And thats another part of the problem.

Imo, the only ones who can make a dent in all this seeing as there are no leagues and whatnot,

are the sanctioning bodies who rank and title these fighters. Make them become a part of the process. For instance, if you want to fight and be ranked in the WBC, you subject yourself to year round random testing. If not, go fight for the IBF ranks and titles who doesn't have the same protocol.

There are solutions, but its going to take tons of work.

I agree, but crying discrimination is a lame excuse. People discriminate all the time, for many valid reasons. If I don't hire someone for a job because they aren't as smart as someone else, I'm discriminating. I'm pretty sure none of Pacs human rights or protected rights are being violated in being asked to participate in testing. Sure, the Mayweathers are lame people. But is it unfair to ask a professional athlete at the peak of their sport to take a doping test? No, especially not in the current sport culture where cheating is common in all sport.

I agree, but wouldn't testing the top two fighters in the top fight of the last decade or more be a good start? I agree with you 100% though.
