Is Andre Ward a dirty fighter?

I myself has written about Bat's dirty stuff on a number of occasions, but that's really not the topic of this thread, although he always interests me.

As for Ward then, no offence but, I find it slightly laughable for you to say that those butts wasn't deliberate. I mean the guy rammed into clinches head first!

I don't think I saw anything as blatant as you're saying. What I saw Kessler's grill getting rammed with was lots of punches. A bunch of them. In this thread alone we've gone from Ward's first to complaining about all of his fights being in his hometown. Ward's a likable fighter - even if he beat Kessler lol.

I'm saying that those in a position to set certain terms for the Super Six did so. All of Mikkel Kessler's big wins have come on his home turf. It's certainly not the end of the world. Who he beats is.

For some reason Bat I SERIOUSLY doubt if Kessler used rough tactics (which imo isn't fighting dirty) and beat Ward, you wouldn't be bashing the great dane.

he is Dirty because of one fight? Kessler and Ward can fight again with Head Gear on and Ward would still outbox him easily IMO

it was more then just "Headbutts" that beat Kessler though

go see the miranda fight it's not only 1 fight it's his last 2 fights which it happens.i was a big ward fan before the kessler fight i am still a fan but he is not the fighter i thought he was he is kinda like bernard hopkins and i'm not a fan of hopkins

I don't know man. One of the things I like about Kessler is his fairness. I think I wouldn't have anything against it if Mikkel had hit Ward in the nuts as retaliation though. I'm actually quite sure I would have endorsed it.

I wouldn't have liked it if he had started the rough stuff, but that's really just an academic discussion. I'm sure I wouldn't have put as much emphasis on it as I now do with the opponent who beat him. That being said I have been very critical against dirty stuff from euro-fighters in the past. Marco Huck immidiately comes to mind.
