No, he's not a dirty fighter but he's a reckless fighter, especially against Kessler. Those headbutts weren't really on purpose, but they could have been avoided if Ward was less reckless and coming in with his head first.

Coming in head first is illegal meaning it's dirty. So I guess you're saying he is dirty and not reckless?

          This ^^^^

The TS is still a bit bitter that he whooped Kessler. I mean, like Ward said, if he's up 10 rounds, why headbutt on purpose? The dude was lunging in that fight and was not under control alot. Hence the headbutts.

I'm not bitter. My man Kessler would have lost anyway that night. But of course it hurt. It always hurts when your favourite fighter loses.

Ward's comments is likely sincere, but we all saw those butts. The last ones was completely unnecessary as the fight was won at that time. So why do it? I say it was because Ward couldn't help himself. It's not that he wanted to do it, but those butts are so integrated in the way he fought that he just didn't know how to stop.

And why should he make an effort to stop? The referee would have allowed an earbite I'm sure.

that means taking care of business. I don't think ward is a dirty fighter at all. I think his game plan in the Kessler fight wa to rough him up a little bit. Most european fighters don't want to mix it up. They would prefer to box so to take him out of his comfort level he had to get a little rough and since it was working, why stop? He did the same to Miranda because Miranda can't box and once he saw Ward was going to be in his a$$ all night he basically quit. He adjust his fight plan according to who hs is fighting.

No but he is rough. He was rough on the inside against Miranda as well. Not dirty but very assertive and can play the bully in the ring. His strength is very underrated. All of that won't matter if his chin hasn't improved.

he is Dirty because of one fight? Kessler and Ward can fight again with Head Gear on and Ward would still outbox him easily IMO

it was more then just "Headbutts" that beat Kessler though
