do you have proof that they/floyd did? the idea of random testing and the use of the USADA is that nobody knows when the tests will be or how many there will be, what reason is there to think that isnt true...

This is a very good way forward, And am glad the NSAC are scheduling a meeting where they are going to meet the USADA and talk about a way forward in cleaning the sport, I also agree that the NSAC should be the ones who oversee the whole process but they might need guidance in a few fights first before they go it alone.

And then it need to spread across all countries where boxing is participated in.

Actually, of all the statements that Team Pac had thrown to the media, this is one press release that they have remained consistent, that is they will abide by any commission rules regarding drug testing.

Its too bad that the last negotiations started in December and the fight had to be made on March. Which means that there was not enough time for the NSAC can do to mediate this issue that would have been acceptable for both parties make it standard for the sport. Instead the promoters had no choice but to place the protocols on contract points and stipulations, which both side couldn't agree upon cause neither parties didnt want to be dictated by the other.

Now that the fight is supposed to be schedule on November, it gives more time to raise this issue to the proper authoritative body for discussion and hopefully for implementation. And if Pac somehow reneged in their statement then we know that he is hiding something. In the same case that if Floyd is still persistent about his own demand on this issue that will contradict the commission rules, then we can say that he just doesn't want to fight. End of story, that;s it..this fight just can't be made.

Fact is the USADA did it right for the Mayweather/Mosley fight, and both fighters had a long period before the fight without having to give any blood. USADA should be allowed to chose when to stop the blood testing as they did with the Mosley/Mayweather fight. Pacquiao shouldn't be allowed to dictate when will the random blood testing stop, he should just abide by the USADA's decision. I still don't understand why the possiblity of a blood test 2 weeks before the fight is such a problem, we've already seen that it won't happen unless the USADA has a reason for further testing.

Let's just all hope that the commission decides to start using OST and see what Pac will do then.

so the balls in floys court now because he sold 150 g more ppv and got a known steroid user to do osts. Im sorry dude but this fight with the 2 biggest stars of the sport deserves a fair compromise or this thing isn't happenning. Floyd knows that and most fans know that. If floyd wants it all then their is no fight why would people encourage that.

I feel ya and like said in the reading that the OST officals will sit down and talk them. Another words they WONT test close to the fight unless they are su****ious. They chose to stop 18 days before Mayweather and Mosley. They could do the same or NOT with Pac and Mayweather. Its random and unannounced. Which is the entire point.

But anyway I agree, I want to see the fight and they need to compromise. Pac gave into 14 now but not then.... he gave in to 14 why cant he just give into the random and it might turn out to being 18+ days....

Anyway in the 1st negotiations Pac requested everything but the OST. he wanted date, location, glove size, ring size, and I cant remember what else. point is that Mayweather agreed to everything. He compromised. Why couldn't Pac?

Okay, At that time it was a difficult thing to go abide by the commission's rules because they dont get involve in contract negotiation, And Team Pacquiao originally agreed to the OSDT (Verbally).

And the only reason the NSAC are now trying to do something about it is because the whole testing thing has blew up and they recognise the need for a change and a better one at that.

My theory has alway been that Pacquiao didnt want the fight for March 13th but some member of his team talked themselves into negotiation with Mayweather when they were never ready for it, They wanted to play the media/fans with the "We wanted Mayweather but he didnt want the fight so we would fight someone else in March" so that people would say Mayweather ducked Pacquiao.

Like i said 5 months ago when i suss the game Team Pacquiao were playing! Pacquiao is going to fight Mayweather with no cut-off date because now they are ready, they werent ready for march 13 and thats why they made their excuses and ducked the fight.
