    • I really don't understand this talk about Top 10 or 20. Most people on here don't even know their Boxing history. There's just too much to look at.

These guys who try to downplay the golden era don't know a damn thing about boxing.

        • Nobody listen to any americans, they just want their own at the top.

A Pac win over Mayweather would definetly put him as the best of all time, of course if he is indeed not using steriods.

Its one thing if he barely beats his opponents, its another if he dominates him.

Old people have got to stop thinking everything that was great is just in the past, and young people have got to stop letting your parents brainwash you into thinking their era was the best. **** the 60's 70's and 80's.

The 1992 dream team, had great players no doubt, but they never faced the quality of opposition the US faced in the new millenium. The 2008 redeem team would have severly outcoached the 1992 team and shoved the ball down their throats.

Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard and other of those guys where lucky they where in a time where most of the fighters only knew how to pressure and such.

Pacquiao is now in a time where practically every country with a history of boxing has good fighters coming up, and he has dominated nearly everyone he has fought, not to mention that he has more titles in different divisions than anyone else.

I tell you what, f Pacquiao was in Robinsons position, he would have never lost to Jake Lamotta.

Pacquiao would beat anyone from the so called 'golden era'.

The likes of Morales, Pacquiao, Hamed, Barrera and JMM is as good an era your going to get in the lower weight classes.

The only boxers past or present who could challenge PRIME Pacquiao are SRR and SRL.

Do you really think Pacquiao would beat Hearns and Haggler?

You still haven't answered my post from before, where do you rate Joe Walcott and Georges Carpentier ?, one was a WW beating HW and one was a Flyweight beating HW.

The only thing you've said so far is that Pac was a Featherweight that beat a WW so he must be the greatest yet you clearly don't know about the names of the people given who did things much much more impressive.

Show's that you don't know about the history of the sport and are too hung up with today's era.

Most ATG WW beat Pac, it's not his prime weight.

                  • Back then there was alot of bums fighting, i'm sure Pac can beat 100 bums and do well with 10 ATG fighters. The thing that's great about Pac is he's been in so many fights where he was destine to lose and came out on top....that's why he will be rated among Ali and SRRobinson. Pac is fighting at a weight where's he not suppose to right now, he has no business being in the welterweight.

Joe Walcott and Georges Carpentier are both ATG but its not just the fact that Pacquiao is beating welterweights, its the way he is destroying them.

Pacquiao will have the best resume of all time if he beats Mayweather or he wins an 8th belt and beats Margarito.

The only WW who would stand a chance against Pac are SRL and SRR. The rest would get beaten the same way Cotto and DLH have been beaten.
