Pac has beat big names for the last 8 years. Pac wasnt in his prime in many of those fights but still won. Against Morales and Barrera they were probably closer to their best than pac was.

If you are going to dissect Pacs opponents like a surgeon you could find the same excuses for any other great fighter in history. The highlighted bits need special attention and rethinking on your part.

How you figure?SRL fought a prime(meaning at their best)Hearns,Duran,Mayweather,Hagler(Leonard was past his best when he beat Hagler)ect ect.Same can be said of SRR,Ali,Joe louis, ect ect.Bottom line Pac is in his prime right now and when he first fought Erik Morales was entering his prime(His best)which leads us to now.Morales,MAB,Hoya,Cotto(only because of the punishment he took)were not prime bro you should know this.I'm not putting Pac down he is a great fighter hand's down but I'am saying he has not fought a fighter in their prime's like other great's have.If Pac fights Mayweather he would have fought a fight closer to their prime imo(even tho May is not in his prime anymore IMO either.

          • But whether someone is in their prime or not. He beat the likes of cotto and cotto has just beat the light middle champ. So whether Cotto was in his prime or not he is still capable. Do you think a prime cotto would have beat Pac? If the answer is no, their can be no valid reason to downgrade Pac in anyway. A prime Hatton, barrera, Morales, Clottey and even DLH wouldnt beat todays version of Pac is how i see it.

            • Sugar Ray Robinson beat 10 Hall of Famers.

With a win over Floyd, Pac would have 5-7 depending on Cotto, Hatton, Marquez getting in. I think DLH is getting in no prob.

That is arguable since the best fighter doesn't always hold the lineal title and it has been fractured over and over through out history. This is why I don't hold titles in such high regard, but unifying a division. Its MUCH harder to unify than it is to hold a lineal title or any other. Thats what makes the greats myself and other have already named that much greater. They actually had to beat the best fighters to get their belt, that just isn't so today. Even when it is they aren't defending against the best opposition because the other top fighters have the other ABC trinkets and ABC orgs don't rank champions from other orgs.

                    • I would like to see this guys top 10 ATG list and who he took out for Pacquiao. I have a problem taking some one out of a top 40 ATG list for Mayweather, who's one of my favorite fighters. I'd say Mayweather and Pacquiao are top 50 and whoever wins of there match should be able to claim a spot in the top 40 ATG list. Then depending on what who the winner beats in their next fight(or they will probably retire) then they should claim top 25-30 ATG.
