I thought it was because the Klits are the two slowest and most boring heavyweight champs in the history of the sport. I saw the Sosnowski fight the other night and it was a total ****-show. I can't stand the K brothers because they're boring. Simple as that.

Which is utterly disproved by the amount of money that they make.

To justify your "slowest and most boring heavyweights ever" you would actually have to argue first that the people who pay for the tickets and watch the fights on TV have no clue. Otherwise it doesn't make any sense why they earn so much money if Wladimir Klitschko would indeed be so "slow".

...and claim so and so from the past would have beaten them, is because (outside of the numerous racists on this message board) they are fully aware that most of their favorite heavyweights from times past would have been utterly destroyed by these giant Ukrainians and it infuriates them to no end. They say the reason that these Russians are dominating is because all the great "American" athletes are in the NFL and NBA, forgetting the fact that until the early 90's, the Russians couldn't participate in the sport of boxing. Low and behold, the Berlin Wall goes down all it takes is 10 years before the Russians take over. The NFL and NBA was just as big in the 80's and 90's and they had great heavyweights according to Americans, but once the Russians take over, all great American heavyweights disappear?

Have you noticed an influx of European basketball players in recent years? Expect that trend to continue, then all we will hear is that all the great American athletes are working as lawyers and doctors now, lol.

Vitaly is still respected in the states you have to keep in mind a man his size all of a sudden quits b/c of a shoulder injury against a guy with no power and your up on the scorecards. Then you have Wlad who gets blasted out buy Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster and claims he was poised. They have come along way and they are a dominate force but they dominate today when the heavyweight division is at a dimsmal and that not there fault. NBA&NFL is where all the money is at and endorsements are at. When you have sports where guys are dunking from freethrow lines and breaking ankels while dragging defenders it's tough to persuade athletes to trade in a ball for gloves.

boxing is a brutal sport.with a torn rotator cuff,you cant lift your arm up.doesnt matter if he was winning,you still run the risk of being seriously hurt.he dominated the fight thoroughly,so he didnt have anything to prove by waiting for the obvious decision or k.o.

brewster took a beating most boxers woulldnt have been able to take,and sanders is a big guy who can take a punch and give 1.

First of all there are no good American HW's now like there used to be. Why can't you guys realize this? Does love you that blind?
