I doubt Pac reachs 149 lbs if he do blood test with no cut-off dates... the dude couldn't even reach 147..

154 or no rematch... it will be a similar outcome at welter even with manny in the corner

Cotto would go like the side note of history of Pac winning 8 titles in 8 different weight classes

if i recall pac said hed fight chavez jr @ 150, so this weight would b aight for pac vs cotto rematch...plus they could still fight for the jr middle title, which is the only appealling thing if the rematch happens. it would be more competetive this time too.....but hey, we all really want pac vs money and cotto vs margo 2...hope it all falls into place

But its disgusting how Arum, Roach and Pac would feel accomplished while having a complete edge. If you fight for a certain belt at a certain weight class, then you should make the weight or atleast let the opponent fight where he's comfortable as long as he's under the weight limit.
LOL. another exaggeration... cotto had to move up in weight for MW (which he is obviously too small for)... but a fight at 148 or 150 is DRAINING him??? LOL. dude, calm that bias down a bit... how about the possibility of a blown up pac?? not a disadvantage for manny??? what other excuses do you guys have? WW limit is 140-147... catchweight was 146. get over it... its still within the WW limit... its nothing like oscar dropping to WW (which was foolish of oscar). cotto was solid and did well until manny adjusted and turned up the pressure. cotto simply got outclassed.... if they fight now, i still see cotto losing... with steward and a size advantage, miguel might be able to keep it competitive but manny's SPEED & AGGRESSION was the factor... no matter what division they fight, those factors will always be in pac's favor....

pac called the shots and made cotto agree to a MINIMAL catchweight because manny was the primary draw.

the same way floyd called the shots for jmm & shane because floyd was the primary draw... in fact, the disadvantage jmm had against floyd was INCREDIBLY worse than the "disadvantage" cotto had against manny....

He should avoid Pacquiao, it's a bad matchup for him.

i hear what you're saying but lets not overlook the fact that hes probably on peds the biggest factor of them all, and i dont want to hear how do i know that because i dont, however, all the signs point to it; his accomplishments since moving up, when it was clear he was on the downside of his career although still very good after the last fight with Marquez. Also, the way he took Cotto's punches with disregard, the size of his head is a clear indication and it continues to grow as i write, his ripped body, punching power, the ability to take a great punch and most of all his refusal to test with no limit on the cut off days. And it is known that if peds are done the right way and he comes off the cycle gradually he wont test positive

i think bob needs to stop pitting his fighters against each other... i want to see some co-promotions.

i think cotto needs a few more fights against boxers... he needs to recoup and get a few more fights to tighten up his technique with steward.

cotto/martinez: no way, martinez too slick
                      cotto/p-will: p-will outworks miguel
                      cotto/cintron: good matchup
cotto/angulo: good matchup, i would rather angulo fight margs though
cotto/margs: no way... although revenge would be great
cotto/pac: still gets outclassed, no matter what weight
cotto/collazo: good matchup, safe but respectable
cotto/berto: good matchup, cotto takes berto to school
cotto/floyd: cotto gets outclassed, no need for another high profile loss

cotto's future looks good, im looking forward to his future dealings... hopefully bob doesnt F**K up with matchmaking
