pac would have nowhere to go if jmm had fought morales.

pac's career from 2005-2006 was just morales.

if he could have beaten morales , pac would have had to kiss ass to jmm to get a fight and chase jmm.

pacquiao-clottey did what 700k ppv and 40k tickets in texas?

pac-jmm 3 would have done a lot better.

      at least similar to jmm-pbf.

      so it's not exactly peanuts.

a lot more than 4 more juan diaz fights i tell you.

and arum did want jmm. he's selling a texas fight to mex-tex fans.

pac-jmm 3 would have been huge.
Wrong. JMM gets paid at least one million for every fight and made millions from the Floyd fight. He's going to get paid at least one million for fighting Diaz again.

I said peanuts because the contract Arum offered them was a bull**** offer and he never was interested in putting Pac in the ring against JMM.

BT: So that’s something you would jump at?

NB: Well, they’ve already offered the fight.

BT: Really, they made an offer?

NB: Nothing official. But we did get an offer from the people at Top Rank Promotions, however, it was a miserable deal and I won’t accept that type of offer under any circumstances.
Do you really think he would've turned down the same offer Floyd and GBP gave him for the Floyd fight?

JMM is an elite fighter, Pacquiao never trained Marquez. JMM = top caliber skills. JMM was a 2 time champion before he ever stepped in to the ring with Pacquiao. He won his first championship 8 years ago but according to your ****** ass, with out the Pacquiao fights:

Marquez would have never again fought for a championship

Marquez would have never fought on HBO or Showtime

No other promoter would have picked him up except for Sycuan Promotions after Top Rank and Marquez would be fighting on un-televised PPV undercards and Friday Night Fights on ESPN.

Because your whole world revolves around Pacquiao you fail to see that with or with out Pac, JMM would have added more titles to his waist, JMM would still be ranked in the top 10 of what ever division he was in, and JMM would still be fighting ranked fighters in title fights. JMM would expand his legacy over time.
Is it fair for the TS to say that JMM owes his career to Pac? No.. But is it fair to say that the Pacquiao fight renewed his career in the lower and middle weights.. definitely yes.

Marquez was always goin to play second fiddle to Morales in the Top Rank (his old promoter) scheme of things. He was never goin to get his break of a big fight because Top Rank favored Morales a lot more than Marquez.

Plus he had always been in the shadows of Barrera and Morales at the lower weights until he fought Pacquiao..

You have to remember Hamed didn't want to fight Marquez because he was a high risk low reward type of fighter. The same case can be said with Morales although I dont know if it was a Marquez's unreasonable demand or Top Rank protecting Morales that cause the fight not to be made between the two...

Had he not fought Pacquiao, he would have been just been another Guzman, and you know what happened to his career.

that one wasn't jmm or nacho's fault.

that one was straight GBP screwing him over.

they did the same thing to barrera.

after the morales fights , a pac-barrera rematch would have been good money.

gbp didn't let barrera fight pacquiao until he fought jmm first.

barrera would have gotten paid more for barrera-pac 2 if he still had the 130 belt and hadn't lost to jmm.

losing to jmm and pac-barrera 2 no longer being a title fight , cost barrera some money,

At least he doesn't owe the majority of his recognition to one fighter though.

Pacquiao is JMM's whole reason for boxing right now.

            It's getting kind of sad.
JMM would still be the boxer he is today and HOF if he never fought Pac.

Marquez owes Pac just as Pac owes Barrera.

Difference being that Marquez didn't officially beat Pacquiao.

He is known only for giving Pac the most trouble.

                  actually you're wrong.

ummm..... say arum tried to screw jmm over and only give him 10%.

you know that's still more than what he's making for the juan diaz fights right?

say pac-jmm 3 does 1 million ppv. the fighters' cut will be around 20-25 million.

plus arum wouldn't offer jmm something as low as 10%.

what jmm get against floyd? 70-30? pac-jmm would be somewhere around that.

you act like jmm wouldn't get paid "millions" as well fighting pac like he did floyd.

Marquez is a great technical boxer, but he became famous because of his 2 competitive fights with Manny Pacquiao.

He'd be a Guzman, Tszyu, Freitas at best.
