that's the **** that gets me vexed over the sport. the big names in boxing should step in and take over, enforce what needs to be enforced and move on. but money runs the sport and its not going to change. i had my complaints about mayweather before but i'm with him all the way, i felt he handpicked some of his opponents but its smart business and the one big thin here is that there's no cheating involved, but Pac on pes and draining fighters along the way is getting glorified as a legend. can you imagine if instead of cotto across the ring that night it was a young Tommy Hearns, that's how much the sport has changed.

Most of the big names are juicing, man. How can they make a test as easy as possible and yet look at all the people who have been caught:

      Mayorga
      Holyfield
      Vargas
      Mosley
      Roy Jones
      James Toney

The list goes on and on. No one wants to say anything because then they would have to stop using. When a conditioning coach (Ariza) says there is no place in boxing for tougher testing, what does that tell you?

yah man, its way worse than in baseball being that boxing is a physical sport and the playing field is so uneven. if you're a fighter with skills and marketability you have a great chance at suceeding in the sport when it comes to the dirty side of the sport and money.

im not a floyd fan in fact i dislike floyd for handpicking opponents and retiring when he hadn't fought margarito, p. Williams, Cotto before the cheat Margarito and Mosley 3 years younger, but with that said i blame Pac for handpicking opponents too, while demanding catchweights that clearly affected Delahoya and Cotto or atleast gave him a clear advantage. and finally I do believePac is on peds and he's not doing anything to prove differently

Are you talking about that..... "the offer should still be on the table" bull****?

Your first girlfriend..... the one that your best friend stole does she still let you come around and get your fingers wet?
Maybe if you learn how to read and comprehend you wouldn't have to put your foot in your mouth like you just did. Their in the same predicament that Floyd is still the bigger draw in ppv #'s. Reading is fundamental jacka$$. .

BTW, when did Floyd schooled Manny, you do know that Manny was and still is the #1 WW, not Mosley.

they're both great fighters but i believe Floyd is a much better fighter in everyway than pac and if the nonsense is stopped and the ever get in the ring, people will witness just how amazingly good mayweather is and they'll wonder why all the b.s. if it was that easy. no disrespect to Pac but i really believe that not only will Floyd win but it will be rather easy

Immediately prior to the failed negotiation.....
Mayweather had only fought the lightweight Marquez since making his comeback, and had not been in a meaningful fight since May 2007.

                      Immediately prior to this negotiation.....
Mayweather has schooled the #1 welterweight, is now ranked #1 P4P by a number of authorities, and has proved beyond any doubt that he is the biggest PPV draw in boxing today.

You do not even need a reason to justify why there could be new stipulations on the table from either camp. It is a new day, and there will be a new deal.

Didn't you get what I meant here? ..........

Your first girlfriend..... the one that your best friend stole does she still let you come around and get your fingers wet?

                      Things change.

Pacquiao being rated #1 at welterweight having only fought Cotto at a catchweight of 145 was an absolute joke.

Clottey was the first actual welterweight that Manny fought at 147lb.

Neither Pac nor Clottey were/are the best at 147.
