Looks like Floyd is sticking with Top Rank Promotions, and will fight on a PPV card on August 12, probably in Vegas vs. Antonio Margarito....why such a quick jump to welterweight? 140 is boxing's best division....or will Margarito come down in weight? Either way, this is an awesome match-up and will help to solidify PBF's place atop the pound-for-pound rankings, I believe a win vs. Margarito would weigh heavier in the minds of the hardcore fans than his W over Gatti....
Mayweather back on August 12!!!

IM prob gonna have to get thsi ppv, as much as i don't like pbf he amazed me with how much power he brought with him against gatti. Hopefully he can perform just as well against margarito, and show just as much respect as he showed gatti after his fight. -
If he wins, then he and Judah will have all the belts. He must see more money at 147, a better chance of being able to fight the other champ(s). Mayweather-Judah has FOY potential, and could have follow-up fights if the first one was great. After seeing Winky Wright demolish Trinidad, it looks like Mosley could still be a credible opponent and Mayweather-Mosley is a PPV as well.
I don't think Margarito would come down to 140; he just fought at 154 a few fights back...Comment

Be prepared to pay that weekend guys
AUGUST 12 is a Friday, one day before the PPV with Rahman-Barrett...
They did that last year with Tyson-Williams and Morales-Hernandez, too. 85 bucks in two days to watch boxing on TV...lolComment

apparently 147 is becoming Boxing's bext division...Sharmba up, Gatti up, Mayorga possibly down, Mosley back, Cintron may return, Margarito, Judah, possibly Mayweather, Cotto may not be able to make 140 anymore, Hatton is already a big 140lber, Forrest may return, Kostya may return and not want to make 147, who knows about DLH...lolComment

That Showtime ppv is garbage.
I dont understand the big jump from 140 to 147, Mayweather has just settled in. He has 2 big fights on his plate Hatton, Cotto. I understand Cotto probably wont get matched with Mayweather but Hatton is the man to beat. But then again I can also see why, Warren wouldnt put Hatton in the ring with Floyd in the U.S.
One thing that amazes the hell out of me is that Mayweather-Margarito is such a mismatch. Margarito has never been able to deal with boxers, remember the Santos fight at 154? Mayweather would blow Margarito out of the water. Margarito is a very average fighter, his only hope is hurting Mayweather.Comment
