Calzaghe is looking out for his ballsack. Hopkins will do a number on it this time around.

not sure how you can possibly believe that when the guy wouldn't even face glen johnson or sven ottke. reality might be too painful for you to face. have some more mario veit rematches whee!that's bull****. you may not like calzaghe, but it's ridiculously blinkered to deny his achievements like that. he cleaned out the division, beating everybody who would fight him (hopkins and jones both though he was too high risk for too low reward in the early part of the decade). it wasn't his fault he couldn't get bigger fights earlier in his career. if the 2006 version of calzghe was in the super 6, he would wipe the floor with all of them. many respected writers and experts have him down as the best 168 fighter ever. he had a superb chin, great hand and foot speed, ring generalship, the lot.Comment

Great!
Joe Calzaghe won the first fight by barely hitting Bernard Hopkins.
Joe Calzaghe wins the rematch without throwing one punch. Send that fraud into retirement man, he won't even go near Chad Dawson or any threat. Meanwhile, Bernard always says "he's from Philly" and all that crap. Bernard's style of fighting seems sometimes to be aiming to piss off the fans as much as possibleComment

Nothing really left to prove, retired undefeated after ruling the division for 11 years. Haters can hate and claim that BHOP won but you can't change the record books. I bet BHOP still wakes up screaming covered in sweat from his memory of Calzaghe buggering him on live TV in front of millions.... I gues you weren't true to your word BHOP, you did let Calzaghe beat you...LOL
Quite true.
All in all, I'm glad he didn't came back. Would be a terrible match up. a man in the mid 40s who cries and fight dirty every 2 minutes vs. a retired party boy. **** that.Comment

Well, he fought Brewer, Eubank, Kessler of course, Reid, and altogether at least 7-8 present, past and future world champions, and rarely had any problems with them, Excepting one or two of course, whom he stll found a way to beat.i dunno..hes never fought top guys other than kessler and hopkins..and kessler barely up there..Hopkins is a good name to his resume..but even in that fight he didnt dominate or wow anybody...sorry Joes always gonna be a umpf fighter....i dont see him being mentioned in the future as ali, sugar, arguello or any of the modern greats..just never fought anybody..never had those classic fights..nothing..
Many say he was the greatest Super-middle of all time. Well he was....that is if you don't count Roy Jones, an impossibility, because Jones was a one-of-a-kind.Comment
