  • PAC's workrate, weight, speed & power

When I saw the statistics in HBO of PAC's performances it didn't make much sense: Higher the weight class, higher his workrate??!! also older he seems to be more active in the ring, more stamina...with same power & speed!!!, iron chin...

Not saying he's on to something, but are there other boxers that have done the same?...not only keeping his power, but getting higher workrate and same Speed??

DLH, Hatton, and Cotto aren't as quick as lightweights. Thus giving the impression that Pac's speed has actually increased, when in fact he's just fighting slower opponents.

If you watch Pac's shadowboxing, he's clearly slower than he once was.

When Pac is in the same ring with Floyd, it will be clear that Floyd is much quicker than Pac, despite the fact that Floyd himself has slowed since moving up in weight.

Maybe draining to make weight made him slower and made it that he got tired easier, when I cut weight I always feel a lot weaker. Pac was a 30 year old man at his prime weight cutting 20 ~ lbs.

Maybe the higher work rate is due to his bigger slower opponents being right in front of him more.
Smaller faster opponents are a little more elusive and therefore he wouldnt be able to keep throwing and landing.

Well it depends on who you fight. (Open to getting hit or not)

If losing the weight affected him. (I personally feel it did)

If he has become better (Like having a right hand now and new angles)

            His speed has actually slowed.

Power maybe more because he is much more muscular. Although muslces don't always help.

Pacs main improvement has been in his technique, balance, defence and right hand.
              Not stamina, chin and power.

I didn't say that's all he has improved, I'm saying what other fighters have done the same and keep those attributes in higher weight clases?
