Floyd's DEFENCE is WAY better than PERNELL WHITTAKERS!!!!

You know what I hate about topics like this. The people who always want to say no, have no valid reason for it. They just say "no way. [insert fighter's name here] is great and never ducked anyone. He fought everyone."

What the fuck does that have to do with anything? It's like, if you don't agree. Make a valid argument on why you don't agree. Don't just say, no. Make a fucking reasonable statement as to why Whitaker's defense is better.

One has to take into account that Whitaker was a lot more active and less defensive-minded than Floyd, yet was rarely hit in his prime. Mayweather is great at controlling the pace and is able to pick his spots, but it would be fair to say that he would get hit a lot more if he were to throw 800-1000 punches a fight like Whitaker did. Whitaker once landed 500+ punches on an opponent, Mayweather rarely throws that many.

Floyd's defence is way better. The only thing with whittaker is it LOOKS better and is PRETTIER. If you really watch him he gets TAGGED more often than lil floyd.

I think Pernell was more elusive than Floyd,but Floyd has a better defense.

Lol, not even close. I'm a fan of both, but Pea was defensively better than Floyd no doubt.

Both of their defense is as equally as great. Pernell's problem was that he would sometimes showboat and because of it he got dropped many times in his career, balance also had alot to do with it. Anyway when Whitaker got serious, you just couldn't hit the guy.
